The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 8 contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington.

Safety Jaquiski Tartt did not practice this week as he continues to recover from a groin injury. He has been listed as "doubtful" for Sunday. As has linebacker Kwon Alexander, who has been sidelined since suffering a high-ankle sprain during Week 5.

The 49ers' other starting safety, Jimmie Ward, has been listed as "questionable" to play due to a quadricep injury. Defensive lineman Kentavius Street shares the same status with Ward, but due to an illness. As is the protocol with any illness, he has one more COVID-19 test to pass before he can rejoin his teammates. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said that will likely mean flying on his own to Seattle for Sunday's game.

Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Seahawks, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are Friday's practice participation reports.

By David Bonilla
Apr 16

Ian Rapoport didn't offer much of an update on the ongoing contract negotiations between the San Francisco 49ers and their standout wide receiver, Brandon Aiyuk. However, the NFL insider emphasized one thing: The team is not entertaining trade discussions at this juncture. Reacting to Aiyuk's decision to unfollow the 49ers on Instagram, Rapoport couldn't help but chuckle at the latest development. This practice has become commonplace among players who are unhappy with their contract situations.
