Huge Notre Dame fan and Michigan hater, but I'll definitely be rooting for Michigan as long as Harbaugh is there, unless they play the Irish in the national championship or something.

Please tell me again about how he left because the Yorks didn't want to pay him (because they're cheap, obviously). He left because the FO wanted to see changes in his staff and that something that Harbaugh just couldn't live with.

All of the available facts point to this as the most likely scenario.

Harbaugh has said all along that he never asked to be the highest coach in football. The problem was they weren't going to extend him because they wanted him to prove more and likely his willingness to not let go of Roman at the time. From there things got to the point where they were unsalvageable.

BTW Harbaugh was right to stick with Roman. 3 straight conference titles says keep your God d*** noses out of it. Look if we had this year and Harbaugh said hey I'm not getting rid of Roman for any reason I'd be fine with letting him go. That's not what happened. The bridge got burned when everything was going swimmingly.

Tell me you werent watching the games this year... Just tell me that!! Right to stick with Roman?? You could NOT have been watching this HORRIBLE offense & the piss poor playcalling from Roman this year & NOT have thought he needed to go!! 3 straight conference titles says absolutely NOTHING about Roman & speaks VOLUMES about the strength of our players! Do we really need to REMIND some people on here about Roman's playcalling from the 5yd line of the Super Bowl?? Geez!!

there are plenty of 'fans' who don't watch the games, the same ones who want to keep Harbs

it's gonna be pretty funny when 5 yrs later, Michigan fans will be wondering if they will ever win a national title with Harbs or whether he truly is another Schembechler who went 20+ years without a national title...maybe that's as good as it gets for them, but Bill Walsh set the standards just a little bit higher around here

Oh boy, look at the Michigan media--harbaugh is the savior.
But, they are living in the past. Michigan 2015 is a recruiting wasteland compared to the 1980s when Jim and bo were there
.the population demographics have greatly changed, and the players Jim expects to find are just not there. He's going to have to go national, like bama and Stanford. Lot of work ahead. He will improve Michigan, but the glory days are not realistic--at all.
good thing for michigan fans is that the playclock is longer in college football

THIS YEAR. You're absolutely right that if offense looked like this year's offense he should of been canned. Apparently you can predict the future though because this is pre season talk here. Harbaugh and the organizations rift was not made this year.

Before that we finished 11th in scoring the past 3 years. Obviously there was some reasons for concern but not to the extent of ripping apart everything like we did. Look players tuned because of the circus we created. You can't tell me Vernon's disappearance is scheme related. The guy was a 900 yard receiver the past 3 years what changed? He checked out. Just wasn't focused this year some of that likely had to do with his contract other parts had to do with the circus we brought to our organization. No coordinator is going to do well and it's best players when in la la land. The line was destroyed due to holdouts, and injuries many of our best talents were off somewhere in space. No frickin sh** things crumbled.

Eh it's more rooting for Harbaugh. I still hate Michigan, but it's not like we didn't end the rivalry for the time being with a 30-0 shutout.

The defense carried Harbaugh and especially Roman. That 11th in scoring is deceiving when you consider Kap and his mistakes never improved.

..

LOL at everybody wearing khaki's.
