the smartest thing Jim did is retaining him. If there's one thing, Jim recognizes talent.

This is true. I was concerned that after the 2010 season he was going to be released. He's the only coach leftover from the dark ages that I wanted even though our D line wasn't as fearsome at the time as it has been in recent years

He has the D-line fired up and playing very well and I think that is why they are doing so good. Keep up the good work coach.
I Love his enthusiam, it seems as he treats the DL as his kids just by the way he interacts with Aldon. He meshes well with Harbs.
Jims an awesome n great coach! He kinda reminds me of bob mkitrick our old oline coach! That he gets our guys prepared and ready and brings out the best in em! Id say the biggest thing would prob be that the guys wanna play for em. Lol yeah nfl pay check, but his guys play hard for em. Ray mac since has gotten the starting position has played lights out! Very under rated player, prob lil to do wit justin n aldon. What he has done with dorsey in lil time is amazing tho dorsey yes has the talents he has been huge for us! Looking forward to see dial n tank progress as well. Jim tomusula is the man for the job.
Would live for him to remain as a mainstay like mckitrick til he is good n ready to call quits

We are an excellent example of what good coaching can do.
I hope he isn't offered a HC job!

Tomsula is an absolute stud. Okoye is going to be his special project and by next year, McDonald, Carradine et al. will need to look out. And that is a great thing.

If I owned Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I would fire the idiot coach that they have immediately after this week's game and hire Tomsula.

Yes, Solari and Drevno are the OL coaches. Thank the lord Harbaugh kept Tomsula and Solari.

The holdovers were Tomsula, Solari, and Rathman. Drevno, Fangio, and Roman were from Harbaugh's Stanford's staff.

I remember reading that the defensive players were adamant about not losing Tomsula. I don't think Jim had much of a choice. Justin Smith, and Patrick Willis said so.

Not all coaches want to be head coaches and, although Tomsula is an undefeated 1-0 as a HC, it seems that he has no aspirations for a HC gig and enjoys doing what he does.

Damn sure not under-appreciated by me. I love Jimmy T. and am so thankful he is our guy. That dude squeezes the very best out of his players.

If he can get Tank up to NFL levels, that line will be a BEAST LINE with Dorsey,Dial and Tank-in addition to the Cowboy.
