At least seattle lost
Kap was very impressive. His footwork was excellent and when he had time to pass he looked good. Unfortunately, when the steelers brought pressure the line folded and kap paid the price. The scoring flurry in the fourth seemed to be against a prevent that didnt bring pressure.

2013 the defense balled out and almost took us all the way until we ran into another stout defense.

Bowman was playing out of his mind that year.

That's fine, the actual stats tell a different story.

By any meaningful comparison the 2011 defense was in a league of its own. That defense was just insane, I remember the second half of the NFC Conference Championship and I don't know that I've ever seen a better four man rush. Justin, Ray, Aldon, all those guys were playing on a higher level.

Yards given up per game, yards per attempt, sacks....etc all regressed from that point on.

The run defense and turnover generation was out of this world in 2011, for sure.

But each year going forward the secondary played better as a whole. I figure Fangio's schemes settled in more each year.

I'm a little pissed thinking that letting Cox and Culliver go might have been a bad idea.
Week 2 loss? The zone throws in the towel and runs into the street screaming. Nothing to see here then.

Too early to say. Last week it looked like a brilliant move. This week...ehhh..not so much.

Can't draw any conclusions either way. We'll get a better feel for the corners after a few more games.

Watching the game it felt like he was throwing for 500 out there. Surprising that in the end he only had 34 yards more total than Kap.

Yeah, that's insane. Was really worried about the long ball going into the game, and my fears were realized lol.

Pinnion? Why? I'm not asking that rudely, but IMO he's been rather unimpressive. I'll give him credit for keeping the ball out of Browns hands, but it seemed most of his punts were around 40 yards.

I know. All I can think about when I see Pinion punt is why did we let Andy Lee go? His punts don't travel nearly as far. I don't get what all the Pinion hype is about.

Olines always fold when the defense brings the pressure. Lol that's football. Kap needs to punish the defense when they bring the pressure

His efficiency was mind-boggling. 13.7 yards per attempt is ridiculous. Kap in comparison had 7.3 yards per attempt, which is pretty good. Big Ben just took our defense to school today.

For a Center, getting the snap count wrong is UGLY. Staley, Boone, Boldin are still waiting for the second count.

Staley says it's on 2.

Boone says it's on 2.

There are mental mistakes that lead to blown blocking assignments, then there are brain farts that are embarrassing. He's the Center, the snap count needs to be nailed down. Any uncertainty, just ask.

Ughh...now I know what happened on that play. 2 games in, and he's had some very bad mental errors. Center is a ton of responsibility, can't have a young guy making mistakes like that.
The good: Seattle and Rams lost

The bad: Cards 2-0, looks good and we got them next

This whole game was ugly to me
