I would rather pay Bell and let Brown go elsewhere.

I thought they picked up his option?
That was before this year. Replace ward with Tartt then

Resign Armstead and include him in the trade. He'd probably kill it in Pittsburghs as a 3-4 DE.

I love AB. I liked him since he was in college and he's been my best keeper in FF for years.
I first noticed him when I was watching college highlights of his QB (LaFavor I think...). I mocked us taking him in the 4th round that draft and he went in the 5th.
So yes, I would LOVE to have him on the 9ers.
However, I am not comfortable giving up too much for him at this point. You just don't know how fast a WR is going to decline at that age. Even our second round pick is too high for me. With that pick we could be getting a guy with a first round grade.
I think a lot depends on whether or not we trade down from #2. If we do trade back and we end up with mid 2nd round pick then I'm fine using that. Otherwise I think we are offering our 3rd plus whatever we can throw in (Armistead or maybe even another WR that Pitt could probably turn into gold like they always do).
Either way, I think the 9ers roster is in bad enough shape that we need two high end players from this draft. Without trading back from #2 over all we can still get that if we keep our first two picks. And Lynch does a better job drafting this year, of course....
I'm still hoping (optimistically) that we come away with Bosa, Adderly and AB

if AB is being a punk-diva in Pittsburgh where he's been Big Ben's main target, can you imagine how much worse he'll get here when his stats falls behind the other 1s??
4th rounder the most
