Center Depth

After Spencer Long's retirement, the Niners have no depth at center. What is the plan if Garland goes down?

Are there any ZBS trade candidates, free agents or possible training camp cuts they could bring in for depth?

Good FA class next season, tho I don't know how we can offload Richburg with that contract. No one currently available that I can think of as an upgrade, or even a lateral move
Part of the reason I hated the trade up for Aiyuk, is the 4th rounder we gave up could have been Tyler Biadasz. :(

I wonder if this pushes Kyle to start Compton at RG, and keep Brunskil as as super sub all over the line.

I was thinking more along the lines of 2020 depth, but an upgrade next year would be good too.

Time to call John Sullivan.
I have a feeling our backup center is not available yet.

What about Ryan Kalil for stop gap??
I was thinking this just solidified Compton making the team.

We'd only save $325K by dumping Richburg this year, and $1.7M in 2021.

Yeah Compton is pretty much a lock for the 53 now.

Agree

Is there any recent retirees who can be coaxed to play for one more season?

I made a separate thread on it but we contacted Daniel Kilgore about returning. Has anyone heard any updates on Garland?
Watching the waiver wire for any centers that could upgrade our depth.
I worry about our interior o line .. it was a weakness going into last year and we didn't upgrade it at all coming into this one
