Your Right Tackle Prospects Rankings???

What are your rankings for RT prospects in next years draft?

From reading the "experts" write ups, here are a couple of names that jump out at me:

1st Round
Trent Williams: Played LT briefly, but has played RT during time at Oklahoma. I'm always hesitant to spend a high 1st on a RT, but he seems like he'd be very, very good on the right side.

2nd Round or later?
Ciron Black
Jason Fox
Sam Young

Also, are there any underclassmen who are likely to declare that can be added to your rankings?

Its still a little early but a good draft source has...

For Seniors

1 Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State 6-5 302
2 Trent Williams OT Oklahoma 6-5 318
3 Charles Brown OT Southern California 6-5 292
4 Selvish Capers OT West Virginia 6-5 298
5 Ciron Black OT LSU 6-5 322 2
6 Jason Fox OT Miami (Fla.) 6-6 314
7 Kyle Calloway OT Iowa 6-7 315 3
8 Sam Young OT Notre Dame 6-8 320
9 Adam Ulatoski OT Texas 6-6 310
10 Zane Beadles OT Utah 6-4 305 4-5

For Juniors

1 Bryan Bulaga OT Iowa 6-6 312
2 Anthony Davis OT Rutgers 6-6 325
3 Bruce Campbell OT Maryland 6-7 310
4 Gabe Carimi OT Wisconsin 6-7 325
5 Jarriel King OT South Carolina 6-5 312
6 Nate Solder OT Colorado 6-9 305
7 Kyle Hix OT Texas 6-7 320 2
8 Anthony Castonzo OT Boston College 6-7 295
9 Lee Ziemba OT Auburn 6-8 310 2-3
10 Stephen Schilling OT Michigan 6-5 304 3

So pick your poison, I still think we take 2 OT's this year.

It's true, it is early. I am starting to monitor college players so that I can get ready for the draft. I don't have the time to watch college ball as much as some of you other draft guru's.

Thanks for the input.

Keep your eye here
Thanks man. I kind of like Ciron Black as a later pick. This quote stood out to me:

Quote:
LSU coach Les Miles said Black is a team leader in all aspects of the game. "The team respects [Black]," Miles said. "He always wants in. Whether it's running sprints or a game, he wants to be in." Black said he tries to lead the team in any way necessary, both on and off the field. "

That sounds like a Singletary kind of guy for sure. He's got good size for blocking, and after playing LT for a good program, he seems like he should be able to pass block as well.

I wonder if he'll be around for the Niner's 2nd rd pick, or if they'll have to use a late first on him? Maybe they could just trade up to the top of the 2nd?

The word on him is he's been really struggling lately...chances are he falls out of the 1st. Obviously some guys fall further then others but if he was available in the late 2nd or early 3rd I would move to get him.
Davis from Rutgers could be very special on the right side

Love what they said about Carter from TT. If you see the guy, you can believe what they say.

Nice find. Hope we can get a right tackle & a guard in the draft along with a move in free agency.
Here is another RT prospect for us to evaluate from Yahoo NFL

3. OT Vladimir Ducasse, Massachusetts
6-5, 328, 5.33

A long-armed left tackle who stands out against lesser competition, Ducasse has a big, thick, well-distributed body and plays the game with a good football temperament and demeanor. Some evaluators still project him inside, and he might be best suited to play right tackle in the pros. But Ducasse has enough length and agility to be tried on the left side. He is still relatively raw with inconsistent technique and footwork, but most of his flaws are correctable; he is very tough and can continue to be molded. Old-school offensive line coaches could fall in love with him, as he shows the intensity and passion desired in the trenches, and he potentially could fit into the first round.

One should be able to play guard and one rt. I love it. were trash we've got weapons now give me a home run running back besides gore.
My targets for the first round.

1. Okung - will be gone
2. Bulaga - possibly gone
3. Anthony Davis
4. Trent Wiliams

if we get any of the 4 I'm thrilled.
