every time i see carolina play this guy makes plays....not a pure pass rusher but more of an all around player, who always seems to be around the ball...would he fit in well in niners 3-4 as an outside linebacker

He and Von Miller(don't think he declared though) are the only 2 Rushers I see that I like.

I don't have the link but OTC has been mentioning Norwood for about a month now. Seems like he'd be a good pick in the 2nd or 3rd.

I like him a lot. He's very balanced as an OLB, which would be great for our defense. A rotation with him, Lawson, Haralyson, and Brooks would be pretty nasty.

My only concern with Norwood is his lack of quickness/explosion off the snap. Not sure if he has the ability to be a pure 3-4 OLB in the NFL....could be a tweener, ILB/OLB combo. His best position might be 4-3 SAM or 3-4 ILB when it's all said and done.

If that is the case then I'd pass. The 49ers already have LB's that can do everything else. What we need is one that can consistantly beat the man infront of him and kill the QB, that is it, we need a missle to the QB coming off the edge.
