It's not like it's such an obvious choice. Only thing Bosa has going for him in that race is that Armstead and Thomas are decent interior pass rushers.

But to your point Golden Rings, part of the draft process is trying to improve the roster in the best way possible. We wouldn't draft Kyler Murray if he was there even if we felt he was a terrific QB prospect with our QB situation.

To me it is an obvious choice. I really think Bosa getting hurt and not being able to show what he can do in his 3rd season like Q was able to do is making some people over analyze him and forget what a strong prospect he is on his own.

And he happens to be a quality prospect that plays a premium position.

I think Bosa goes #1. Gambo was reporting that if the Cardinals can't get a tradedown, that they will choose between Murray and Bosa. I still expect them to go Bosa despite all the Murray hype, most of which I think is manufactured to support a tradedown.

Its been reported that teams want Rosen. No single report out there that Arizona is actually shopping him.

Film shows otherwise but I know that's never been your way of evaluating players.

And fact is assuming Bosa is the pick anyone playing next to Bosa, Buckner and Ford will have very few difficult looks.

If AZ reports it then it blows up the suspense of the 1st pick in the draft. The Draft is a nfl spectacle now....it's not like they haven't shown a ton of love for Murray.

How much time does it actually take to heavily scout Murray? They are "heavily scouting" a lot of players. I do believe that they genuinely like Murray but won't accept pennies on the dollar for Rosen either.


I think they'll listen to offers on Rosen but unless someone comes strong with a good offer, it'll be a matter of weighing keeping Rosen+adding Bosa versus just adding Murray and I think Keim will have a hard time dumping a QB he picked a year ago along with missing out on a legit difference maker on defense.



Lots of 49ers fans that really love Bosa seem to like to act like Bosa is suddenly trash when it comes to why Arizona wouldn't just stand pat and draft him.
