So? Mitchell left and as it stands we only have 1 NT, of course they're going to bring someone in.

A 3 year starter who could give DJ Jones a run for his money.

Tells me that they're going Bosa at #2. They KNOW Murray is going #1, so they're shoring up the interior now. Will then finish upgrading the DL with EDGE (Bosa) in the draft.

so, he was actually a pretty good run stuffing NT last yr. He was a starter on a playoff team (as much as you can be at NT). He wouldn't be a camp body or anything like that (upgrade to Mitchell)

Just more DTs to add to the bunch is what I'm saying.

I mean he's a solid player. He's not gonna rack up a bunch of sacks like Q (hopefully) would.

Here's his combine results.

Man, it really gets hard sometimes for me to be the smartest poster in this forum.......clearly this is a sign that QW is the pick.

Clearly are coaching staff has brought this guy in to shore up the interior, this allows them to pick QW and move him to a more natural position at EDGE......

Come on, you guys know how we do things, lol.

"I'm taking Bosa. Jets, you wanna do a little trade? Maybe just throw in a 3 and future pick. I'm gentle."

Timed near the end and right after Bosa's visit. He could legitimately be their #1 guy. But, the timing may also be to fish.

Some of y'all are really reaching with these assumptions about what will happen at #2 because of us bringing in guys like Moore or Davison. These guys aren't locks to be here come week 1 and won't impact our early picks in any way.

Also, I think the OT signing is partially to throw off their scent in round 2. SF and OAK might be competing for the same OL around then.

We do this and take Allen at #2. You would spit out your frosted flakes real quick..

Cue to war room, where everyone's high fiving Saleh for his first successful smokescreen.

Moore played for AAF, Nelson was a starter and good NT for a playoff team for the past couple yrs. Nelson isn't on Q's level at all, but would play much more than Moore who imo has a slim chance of making the final roster.

Yes, yes I would.

Moore also has a few years in the NFL and has put together a couple of half decent seasons earlier in his career with a high of 5.5 sacks in 2014. He's only 26yo and it seems like the biggest reason he flamed out was because of questions about his attitude and commitment to football, not talent.

With that said, we aren't passing on Bosa or Allen because we took a chance on Moore. We also aren't passing on Q if we sign Davison. These guys are camp bodies who have a chance to stick if they prove they are worth keeping. Davison is no different than signing someone like Jerry Attaochu last year. He's not guaranteed anything other than a very small signing bonus that we have no problem eating if he's cut early.
