Who could argue with getting this guy if we went EDGE with our 2nd rounder and/or traded up into the late first for a guy like Ferguson. These next tier edge rushers all have flaws so why not get the guaranteed elite player and take the pass rusher with our 2nd pick.

If we only had one pick in this draft I would get it...but we have a high 2nd round pick w/ opportunity to trade up to address EDGE if no Bosa. That way our RISK is with a 2nd round pick versus a top 2 pick. QW ain't busting and is FAR more worthy of #2 than any player not named Bosa.

At #2 if cannot trade down....

QW + Ferguson (or whoever else at EDGE drops to 20s) >>>>>>> Josh Allen/Polite/Burns + whoever in the 2nd round.

We should be thankful for Bosa's injury and exit from playing college football the rest of the season. It might just tip the scales in favor of QW when AZ is on the clock at #1 with QW proving he is every bit the prospect that Bosa is.

One thing is for certain...I will be melancholy for a while if AZ takes QW and we slip behind the Jets and the Jets get Bosa at 2.

That would royally suck.

I remember hearing that argument a bunch with Solly. We'll grab the Leo later. 2 years later nada.

You're spending a top 5 pick on the line. We got other needs as well. It's a big assumption we won't just patch work the edge again.

Well, one difference between then and now is that there is no speculation- we KNOW there is no one that can rush from the edges at this point. Back then, some may have thought Aaron Lynch could've held the spot down.

Like if they seriously went into next season without signing a clear starter AND drafting at least one player in the 1st or 2nd round, it's clear neglect at that point and they don't care about rushing from the edges.

This assumes that they haven't addressed edge rusher at all in FA. If you add a Fowler or a Graham that reduces the pressure to go edge rusher in Round 1.
