I mean if Q is the best player in football you should assume he would be the pick if Murray isn't the pick?

And Murray is -500 to go to AZ, pretty sure he's going #1. You should go big on QW....think of it 5X your money, doesn't get better than that.

Sorry. Update. Now -850 for Murray to AZ. QW to SF is done. Time to take the money and run.

Except one big problem.... we wont be picking at 2. We will be picking no earlier than 4 and no later than 14

Doubt it. 2 best players by far on the board. No body trading up for defense, nobody trading up for Lock or Haskins. Raiders still get a great defensive player at 4, can use their other two ones or a one and a two to move up to get their QB. Move down around 14, get too cute and miss on Sweat, Burns, then what Gary? Lol. They're not moving down.

I get confused when i keep reading this.

They're the best players by far which is why I'm told we should stay at 2. But some how at the same time they're not worth trading up for.

So how can they be Soooooo good and not good enough at the same time?

So is Buck what's your point? You need a balanced team man. Bama's defense was the worst it's been in yrs even with a monster at DT. They made it to the finals based off its offense this yr.

That's he constantly in the backfield. Not sure why you even brought up Buckner. It's not like they can't complement each other.

Bama's secondary was the worst it's been in years. Not the front seven.

Draft capital. Last team to trade up into top 10 for defensive player?

Edit: Found 2 so far Bears moved to 3 in 1964 for Butkus, Chargers move from 14 to 8 for Leslie O'Neal in 1986.

Yes they're the two best players...teams don't give up top end trade compensation required to move top two for defensive players. It just doesn't happen man.

Or if he's still there...move up to 2 or 3 while forking over less value.
A survey of 14 NFL evaluators concluded that Alabama DT Quinnen Williams is the best player in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Williams (6'3/303) received 6-of-14 first-place votes, while Nick Bosa (3), Kyler Murray (2), Josh Allen (1), Dwayne Haskins (1), and Jeffery Simmons (1) rounding out the list. Despite receiving the most votes, it appears likely that Williams will not be a top-three selection with Murray, Bosa, and Houston DT Ed Oliver expected to be the first three of the board. If Williams falls to fourth overall, the Raiders should be quick to turn their card in, but Josh Allen, Devin White, and potentially a quarterback will also be in play.

Ok. Still would b 7th DT on roster. Not against him, just trade 3 of the other DTS on roster. Bosa more of a need. Best player at EDGE in draft.

That D wasn't even in the top 15 this yr....they had no edge rushers (Miller was off and on injured)

My point is we already have a dominant 3-tech and we already have a group of solid young DTs that need more snaps, not less.

We have ZERO across from Ford. Nothing. Ford himself is basically on a one yr contract and has been injured quite a bit. I don't get why people don't want a balance front 7 that can get pressure from all over the field

we've drafted 6 (you're talking about taking a 7th) DT in 4 yrs. why even draft any of them if you're not gonna get them on the field? 50% of our sacks came from inside this past yr and SF ranked 7th best in the league vs the run (YPA). We NEED help on the outside.

If Bosa is gone, I'll understand the pick, if they pick him over Bosa smh.

Exactly that's what kills me about some people on here saying "just trade back and get a haul" .
Just look back at past drafts like some have shown it just doesn't happen for Defensive players.

Yet...a # ofthose in the BosaHive say get Bosa or trade down for Burns.

Lol the same people are arguing against their own points made just a few pages ago.

At this point making sense of what will really transpire isint the actual goal of many.

There's some kind of idea i guess that Lynch will log on and tally post counts on here before turning in their draft card.

I'm pretty sure most trade back supporters are basing this on KM not being drafted at #1.
I'll be VERY happy if AZ takes Murray and not QW or Bosa.

It's the best compliment I can give to each player. I wouldn't want to face either of them twice a year for ten+ years.

Doesn't answer my question.
