I mean Banks will have every opportunity to get that spot (either side). There's some good depth in the trenches (on both sides) I expect SF to keep adding there.

Big ? is how is McG recovering....we can't roll with Compton again.

Goals IMO for this off season via trade/FA/draft:

competition on the OL
vet backup QB with similar skill set
safety upgrade (Tartt is gone and while I like TH we need someone that can be a little more interchangeable)
boundary CB competition and depth
slot DB upgrade
DL depth added (we got 5 guys setup to be FAs) that including EDGE
TE depth
WR depth, I'd like a slot WR that can separate...like Jennings but some depth there (someone who brings a different skill set)
and a legit depth threat WR who can return kicks.

Like Zion Johnson a lot, no way he makes it to the bottom of the 2nd though

The only help we are going to get from QBs this year is sliding into the top half of the 2nd round so other players slide to us

Oh there will be a handful of QBs drafted before our pick, I don't see any of them as starters this yr though. That's also good for us and trading Jimmy

He's been wearing gloves on both hands. Yesterday in the rain, he wore a glove on his throwing hand but NOT on the other. Never seen that before, usually it's the opposite and no glove on throwing hand but glove on the other. They talked about it and he claims his thumbs are double jointed so the bend would cause hand to measure smaller.

If they do not impress it will help jimmys trade value

One of my fav RBs, Dameon Peirce, showing out. Doubt we go RB, but if we do, this is one I'd expect to be all over Shannys radar to replace Hasty as the third down back. Can catch the ball, but can actually pass protect at a high level as well.

This is easy math.

Draft an impact RT who could grow into the RT of the future. If MM comes back at full strength, let the RT compete at RG.
