Rachaad White RB ASU

SF met with him at the combine, so I figured we should make a thread for him. Day 3 prospect 6-2 210lbs

He's a fit for a zone blocking scheme and has great hands.

NFL comp for me is Kenyan Drake. I wanted to say Arian Fosterish but I think Drake is more realistic.

I like how no matter what, RB is always on the table lol. If they ran with Mitchell, Mostert, Sermon, Wilson, and Hasty (or some combo of the 4), we'd be fine. But Shanahan is clearly never satisfied. Granted 3 of the 5 need to be under contract, but still.

Yeah I mean there isn't a position that can be more impactful late in drafts more than a RB.

And everyone of five those guys was hurt at some point this last season.

Kyle responded by converting our #1 WR to RB. Most teams would've just passed the ball more.
We're a run-first team.

True, but QB at the time had a little to do with that as well.

I like, I'm sold … running him behind Trent and Laken with his patience :O

no it didnt it was injuries

first 7-8 games he was averaging 120 yards per game
Yeah this is my late round guy if Cooks is off the board by the end of the 4th rd. Great hands and just love the way he moves, patient one cut runner.

I could see him going 3rd or 4th round. I like how white runs with the ball and excellent hands. Reminds me of Elijah Mitchell
Sure seems like they will draft a RB again.

Mitchell and Sermon are the only ones under contract, and Sermon is still a pretty big question mark. Definitely want him to get chances this year but can't count on him to be the #2 guy.

I would love for them to keep Mostert but I just don't feel like that's going to happen. Just a vibe/reading the room kinda thing.. I hope I'm wrong.

Wilson and Hasty are each fine, but I don't know if they both get kept. My preference would be to keep Wilson.

So to me, there's plenty of opportunity for a rookie RB. And with Shan and Turner's history finding guys, doesn't it seem like it's worth buying that late round lotto ticket every year? I think it is.

I haven't dug into this class yet, but this guy White sure looks the part.
