Yes. Definitely need some new blood in the safety group. Jimmie Ward is gone and there is no telling whether Gipson loses a step over this offseason, or two steps. Unfortunately, Tarvarius Moore was never the guy.

I think they gonna want Gipson as a vet presence until his teeth fall off with age this year. I'm not buying Huf as a vet presence especially with Wilks as the new DC. Huf with a young safety is kinda scary to think about for me.

• Will the Texans pick a QB with #2 or #12? If not they may be looking to trade for Trey Lance? I dont want to trade him bc i still believe in him but if the offer is right and Kyle believes in Purdy then 49ers have to consider it. I'd ask for a conditional first next year.
• Can Arizona trade down
• Assuming Young goes #1 i'm kind of intrigued by the order of Stroud, Levis and Richardson
• Always interesting to see who falls. feel bad if they are attending the draft

I think they gonna want Gipson as a vet presence until his teeth fall off with age this year. I'm not buying Huf as a vet presence especially with Wilks as the new DC. Huf with a young safety is kinda scary to think about for me.

They're gonna draft a safety, and like Huf with Tartt he'll watch and learn behind Gipson while mostly being on ST then taking over next year when he replaces Gipson.
