Which OL should the Niners draft at pick 31 and why?

Kingsley Suamataia immediate RG future RT would require a trade up in the 2nd rd

Trade down a bit and draft Kingsley Suamataia to compete for RT to start, and develop him for LT.

Then draft Roger Rosengarten to compete for RG (to start), and groom him for RT.

Yours is the more realistic scenario. I'm fine with Suamataia at 31 bc it provides that 5th year option to a somewhat raw player with good feet and strong as hell.

For Tackle I'm talking actually being projected as a Tackle at the NFL level. Not sliding inside. Those guys can be listed as IOL if you choose so.

IOL - Fautanu, Barton, Powers-Johnson, Frazier, Beebee

OT - Alt, Latham, Fauga, Fashanu, Fautanu

More concerned about the 6-10 tackle ranking.

I think we need to trade up to push Colton to backup. Got to get Troy Fautanu on a trade up. Staying put at 31 I like the ceiling of Kingsley Suamataia but still a bit raw and needs to improve technique. He's still very young so that's why I'd like him with the 5th year option, but Fautanu is him.

I too want us to draft OL in the first. But if they are all gone, I would not mind nabbing McConkey the nifty receiver out of Georgia. Hear me out on this. I think we will give Brandon his 25-27MM multi year contract. We will part ways with Deebo next year.

With Brock's accuracy, why not pair him with a receiver that runs extremely tight routes? We don't need. Deebo type receiver anymore. Aiyuk, McConkey and Jennings or Jennings type would be lethal!

Niners haven't had a receiver with McConkey's skills in a long time!
