I see 5 going in round 1. I think someone trades back into the 1st for Penix.
Bo Nix will be odd man out

And out of those 6, one will he a true franchise QB, two will be good starters, two will be complete busts and one will be backing up Purdy in three years.

I think only 4 will go first round. 2 might go early second round though.

What was our haul? Better be a bunch of 5th round picks

Yeah I've been to figure out who might move up into the first round, specifically to 31 and would be a beneficial trade partner. Having a hard time if the target is QB. Presumably Bears, Pats, Commanders get QBs early.
So whos moving up for these QBs. Raiders or Saints at 44, 45 make the most sense to me but I just think thats too far to move.
Its more likely IMO, that if we move back, its with a team looking to draft a non QB.
- Vikings have no 2nd or 3rd and might already score QB in the first.
- Cleveland makes alot of sense with Watson not playing great and losing Flacco, but their 2nd rounder is at #54 and that just seems to far to moveback. Theyd have to add future draft capital and I just dont think thats compelling.
- Denver could move up if they miss out at 12. Nix could be a good fit, but they dont have a second rounder at all.
- The Raiders make a bit of sense, but OConnell has some bright moments. And they signed Mishew. I'd probably ride with that. Moving to #44.
- Rams might want a QB of the future, but I just dont see them giving up assets to move up when the window is still open.
- Miami for Tua insurance but they dont have a 3rd or 4th rounder.
- Maybe the Saints. Have pick 45 and no 3rd or 4ths, but future picks could be valuable.
- Seattle doesnt have a 2nd and just got Howell.
- I dont think Pitt adds another QB to that mess.
- Levis had good moments for the Titans. Gotta get more talent around him.
- Too soon for Carolina to draft another QB? They have the 33rd so I'm not sure they need to move up.

I've seen crazier things happen on draft night. So in this case, Pats acquire some extra picks to move back. And then move up from 34 to 31? What are the 9ers getting back? According to the draft chart, best case it'd be 31 for 34 and 105. Is that moving the needle for you? Enough to lose on 5th year option? Maybe we use that pick later to move up. 94+105 could get you to 77. 63+105 could get you to 55.

5th year option isn't valued the same at every position
Case in point OL 5th year option is 19 mil. The top free agent OL got 17-20 per. So only thing you gain is an extra year
This regime has only used the 5th year option on 2 out of 6 players(Aiyuk pending to make it 3-7)

Itd depend on who's there; I'm not advocating to trade down for the sake of trading down. But, a 5th rounder and an all-pro return specialist who is a legitimate deep ball and big play threat with elite speed doesn't move the needle for you? We aren't likely to be drafting that in the 4th round.
