What would you give up for him?

Our 1st, and 3rd this year and 2nd next year. Or Gore for Cutler straight up.

why??? why?? why?? would you give your best player and no chance at replacing. this my friend is not madden

and that is waaay to much for 1 player. you do see that not teams are not jumping on this for a reason. i like cutler by this sounds my like the trade NO did for smokey williams.

I would not trade the 3 draft picks, but I would trade Gore for Cutler. Highly productive RB's are a lot easier to come by than Pro-bowl QB's.

You are right on with that statement. Cutler is worth much more than Gore. Its isnt even close. I doubt any team would give up a #1 pick for Frank Gore.

I would give a #1 this year and a #3 next year for Cutler but givng up a #1,2 and 3 is just a bit much.

Actually we would have to give Gore PLUS some pick to get Cutler.

Gore seems to be on the downhill of his career and RBs are extremely easy to find.

The thing is, like I mentioned, the Broncos would NEVER agree with that trade.

What? Cutler is a real up and coming QB who just went to the pro bowl. Lets be honest here if he became availiable to another team not in Belicheats circle Cutlers gonna be that expensive or more to move. Any GM worth his salt can find a 1000 yd RB every draft. Theres more than 8 this year that have that potential alone. All with out the injury concerns or fumbling. How many QBs like Cutler will you find this year or next?

Hell yeah id give up Gore for a QB like Cutler. Gore is a very good RB but he gets injured easier with each season. His fumbling isnt getting any better "year 3" and the injuries are making him slower ( twice repaired, knees & shoulders) as you saw him get caught from behind alot more. Cutler will end up doing more for the 49ers than Gore could. His arm strength and accuracy deep pull defenses away from our ground game and Davis. It makes Hill and Morgan better as he can make all the throw as he features one of the NFLs strongest arms. No more inaccurate wobbley ducks. Plus Cutlers release is on a different level than we have here so thats gonna help out this OL alot more than you think. In either hypothetical scenario the 49ers gain more than they lose as the value of Cutler over Gore should be without question to anyone really.

Did Bucs' offer for Cassel come too late?

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen has reported, with excellent elaboration via ESPN.com’s Tim Graham, that the Buccaneers offered a first-round and a third-round pick for quarterback Matt Cassel as part of the menage-a-trade that would have sent quarterback Matt Cassel to the Broncos and quarterback Jay Cutler to Tampa.

So why did the Pats pass?

A reader has shared with us this nugget from Michael Felger of WEEI: Put simply, the Bucs arrived at the party too late (and possibly with a cinnamon bobka).

If that’s the case, then it all makes sense.

But Mort says (via Graham) that the Broncos were willing to give up their own first-round pick -- No. 12 overall in the draft -- for Cassel. Under those circumstances, why didn’t Belichick bite?

We agree with Mortensen’s suggestion that Belichick would be less willing to help a former assistant coach than to help the front-office guy who helped set the table for those three Super Bowl victories in four years.

Mort also suggests that the Pats leaked word of the Broncos’ effort to trade Cutler to the Boston Globe as a way to mess with the Broncos.

Um, wow.

We only wish that the Broncos and Pats played each other twice per year. As a consolation, the Broncos and Chiefs still do.

UPDATE: Tom Curran also reports that the Bucs and Broncos showed up after Pats coach Bill Belichick had decided to pull the trigger on the trade with the Chiefs. Credit Chiefs G.M. Scott Pioli for: (1) knowing that the Patriots were ready to do something right away with Cassel; and (2) getting a number and placing his order while the other teams were still loitering in the lobby of Schnitzer’s.

What I am wondering is WHY the Broncos would even consider giving up a Pro Bowl caliber QB ?
Do they know something about his health issues? I believe he has diabetes and needs to monitor his insulin closly during games. We all know that diabetics have a much larger chance of major health problems as the years go on ,so do the Broncos believe that Cuttler will not be able to remain their long term QB ?
I love his skills and believe he will only get better with time (if he stays healthy) and I believe he will probably get better at decision making as he plays more and so will cut down his stupid int's . So would I give up the 10th pick for him,of course . Unless the Broncos know something ominous about his health that is not public knowledge yet.

What do you think they saw? His heartless performance at the end of last season of course.

And then there is the South Park episode that sealed the deal.

And comments such as these are routine when you watch Cutler on TV.

post all the youtube links you want. In the end you, I, and the rest of the zone all know Cutler would be the best QB on this team hands down and the perfect piece to make a playoff run.

I know more than you think...that's why we shouldn't get cutler and its waste of time for us trying to come up with ways to trade for him...first off everybody is on his nuts, all this for a qb who doesn't even have a winning record, who cares if he was a pro bowler his team was 8 and 8, as for this Great QB of yours he LED his team to one of the all time choke jobs, and don't give me this defense was horrible crap, yes they were bad but look how gay cutler played towards the end, classic choke job, he is our generation jeff george.
