According to PFT, Ginn would have been traded if weren't for the good game he had before the deadline.
Here in Miami where I'm currently working reports to that say that if they need to make a roster move , they'll dimly release him with them guessing they won't get a 5th or better at draft time.
Sooooo, can I dare say KR/PR ??
Forget WR, just use him as Return man and emergency WR.

Trading him yes but I just can't see them releasing him.

If they release, aren't we free to offer him whatever we want off of waivers?

If you pick him up off waivers I believe you inherit his current contract. If he passes through waivers unclaimed then he is a free agent and can pick the team and contract he wants to play for.

He gets great seperation but he just can't catch. Everytime I see him play he drops balls in the endzone or passes that should go for a score. If his hands were even a little better he'd be extremely productive.

I'd roll the dice on him. Our receiving core is pretty much set. Davis is our primary option, Crabtree is our number one receiver, and Morgan looks promising coming out of the slot.
We wouldn't be asking Ginn to set the world on fire. Just handle kick returning duties and stretch the field. Granted it has to be at the right price too.
