I mean talk about it if you want but it just seems to me that the topic has been beat to death.

I don't see why he has all the loyalty/passion from Niner fans, personally. He was a good player. He surprised in the beginning because he sort of came out of nowhere.

I wonder how many people here beating the T.O. drum are even old enough to remember his career...

If they vote him in then he's one of their Hall of Famers. If they don't, he's not. It doesn't change his career one bit either way.

And yeah, who cares what Owens's actual teammates, such as Rumph, thought of him? Clearly you know better than people who were actually around him all the time. Clearly you know better than Owens's actual teammates what kind of teammate he was.

That is what I mean. Calling Rice a top 5 WR is underselling him by a ton. Just like calling TO a top 10 WR is underselling him.

I got TO at #2 personally, right in front of Moss. I can understand the Moss > TO argument, but I would never put Moss over TO strictly due to him quitting on the Raiders. People can rewrite history all they want regarding TO, but he would never and has never quit on his team like Moss did.

If this guy gets in The GOAT MOSS is a shoe in! 1st ballot! But with his drama the nfl will lag it

What is this based on? Owens never looked better then Rice did. Just having Joe throwing to him? I know TO clocked a better 40 time, but he didn't look that must faster in game then Jerry and the his hands aren't in jerrys class either.
