Okay, that's a fair view. In terms of resources I thought they limited how much they invested in these moves. If you feel it inhibits development of younger players, I can appreciate that stance.

Personally, I do like these moves and don't think it has long-term consequences.

I get some NIner fans are having a tough time wrapping their heads around Sherman, but one thing he rarely does is make dumb mistakes (i.e. needless PF's, etc.). Talib makes them every season. I'm happy we got RS and not Talib.

He wanted to play for Wade Phillips or go back to the Pats, or be cut so he can pick the team he wanted, per an article I read. Wade, who he played for in Den or his old team, Idk how anyone can begrudge the man for that. He wanted control of his career, I dont see anything personal towards us Imo.

If I remember correctly, the Niners tried to acquire Talib when he was a buccaneer and he wanted to part of the 49ers even back then. Dude just hates SF
