Apparently he didn't want to come here as per that report earlier this week
Feeling was mutual
Assuming Elway told Lynch he did not want this guy in the locker room. Rams brought in two great corners, but both have attitude and/or character issues.

He got traded. Not like he chose to go there
Aqib Talib wanted to play for Wade Phillips in LA or Bill Belichick in New England; idea of playing elsewhere was not something he found desirable. This helped dictate trade to Rams.

He wasn't very desirable as well. All a team had to give up was a 5th round pick. They were shopping him to everyone

This will go one of two ways. Either two supremely talented CBs unite in their craziness and become as great a pair of CBs the league has currently, or they let their egos ramp each other up and jealousy leads to a rivalry and a toxic locker room with childish acts playing out on the field.

That's still too much compensation for him.

Aren't they both from Oakland as well?

This is our competition now. We need to go through them to get the NFC West title. Shanny needs to start planning for our first game against them asap. A message must be sent early and if done well we can get into their heads and under their skins. One good poke to the ego after that and we will control the division. Psychological warfare time.

Teams draft special teams players in the 5th round.

The Rams are trading for two world class head cases. One young enough to maybe help them long term and one that has maybe two good years left. They are crossing their fingers that they don't melt down at the same time. Could work out for them and could also backfire big time.

+1. Salary cap is also going to be an issue as soon as they resign DPOY Donald. Will have to contend with Gurley getting a massive deal next year and Goff the following year.

I love the overreactions that Lynch isn't doing his job, or the team is cheap. A lot of times players go where they want to go and that has EVERYTHING to do with where they decide to sign/accept a trade to.

We offered what we were willing to trade. They turned it down for a 5th round pick. Either we really didn't have an interest or Talib didn't. Either way I'm glad.
