Alright. We drafted Bosa. Let's give him more inside opportunities and see what he can do this year.

if he plays well then he will see a double team

You can't double team all 4 of them. Someone will have single coverage. If they double Bosa on the outside, you stunt Solly inside. Just look what they did with Brooks, McDonald, Aldon, and Justin.

8-10 sacks. That's not too much to ask and would be huge for our line.

He might only get 8-10 plays a game now. I'm exaggerating but his role is going to be slashed with Bosa in town.

So your saying he'll be fresh when he gets in. 😀

3 sacks would be a career year for Solomon.

Fangio was way better at putting the guys in the right position to succeed...
saleh... well he's still trying to figure out what wax to use on his head so he can get that matte look.

Salah knew outside wasn't best for Thomas, but the issue was they hoped that until they had better Edge players that Thomas would do well getting playtime on the outside and be better than their non-ideal player options they had their for the time being. It didn't work out that well, but one can understand the logic to get the best talent on the field even if out of their ideal position.

Last part was too cold, but I agree with the rest.

He should play great for his sister.

This argument makes more sense to me then "Saleh is a moron and will only play players out of their natural positions," rant.

I and others have said this. There was no one else available to play LEO. But with that said, I'm thinking he can get 20 or so snaps a game now,but they should all be inside. If he's I'm that 3rd down rusher role (backup), 4 - 8 sacks is possible.

Lets move on from his sister, shall we? Anyone who has lost a sibling or close relation will sympathise with him. But I dont see any indication that he is hiding behind it.
Hopefully he can bring it this year
I see him as a definite possibility to get some snaps inside even on run downs, to spell DJ Jones, unless Day manages to make the team. Indeed with Bosa and Ford crashing the edges along with Buckner next to him inside, there's no reason Thomas -- and AA as well -- shouldn't have success. He should be further developed by year 3, he should be stronger, stouter, and still is highly athletic so on paper it should all add up to success.

Here's to hoping what "should" happen actually becomes reality.
Possible depth chart and alignments setup the way I see it right now, in base and nickel.

BASE:
Dee Ford, DJ Jones, DeForest Buckner, Nick Bosa
Dekoda Watson, Solomon Thomas, Arik Armstead, Ronald Blair
Damontre Moore, Sheldon Day, Jullian Taylor, Kentavius Street

NICKEL:
Dee Ford, DeForest Buckner, Solomon Thomas/AA, Nick Bosa
Watson/Moore, Jullian Taylor, Kentavius Street, Ronald Blair

This is a massive improvement from last year. Addition of Ford, Bosa, and Damontre Moore at edge. Return of Street from injury. Another year of development under the belt of Thomas, Taylor, and Blair. Please, please let this be as good as it should - or even better than expected!

He'll likely be asked to take on doubles like we saw last year. I'd have him maxing out at 4.
