I hope Suh stays a free agent right through training camp and Lynch has his agent's number saved just in case Thomas doesn't take that next big step in his development. Honestly though, I'd sign him right now to a 1 year deal and make Thomas beat him out instead of just handing him the job and hoping for the best.
I think Solly plays the run better than Suh. He just needs to finish sacks and get his confidence up. I'm predicting Solly has his best year ( not exactly bold) but he will be good.

Hopefully, he had a rough 2018, on and off the field

It is now or never.
Good post.

Me too.
If he can finally arrive - we'll have an excellent rotation that will get into DC's heads,.

Naw- What you're saying makes sense, but I really want to see Solly get the reps. No more stinking 5 year options (Ward/AA), just because we still don't know what we have after 3 or 4 years. I say play this dude balls to the wall all season and let the chips fall where they may, if he below average, keep him last year for backup and let him walk year five.

Thomas getting reps is fine, but he needs to earn them first. We went through this last season where a few young guys were just handed starting spots because of the lack of competition at their positions and it blew up in our face when they didn't play as expected.

Just put him at 1T/2i and leave him there. Watch what happens. D.J. Jones can get some run there too. Keep 'em coming in waves.

3rd overall pick 2 years ago and is still trying to build up a head of steam. Hope Bosa hits the ground running rather then at Solomon's pace.
I don't know why guys have their panties in a twist over 4th round pick for a punter when all they would get is a second stringer secondary back or offensive guy who could take years to get up to speed if at all.
That is what Solomon's example says to me especially since the punter is already up to speed and will start straight away.

Dude is nothing more than an academic wuss that wanted to be set for life with his own law firm down the road. He'll be next season's "surprise retirement story", reminding everybody about concussions, posing as the rich poster boy for birth control. What a worthless pos, I wonder what excuse he'll have this year to dodge training camp, I bet his great great grandpa will come down with measles, or his cousin's cousin will get the black lung.
wow I'm sure he feels the same way about you lol...calm down chief

I'm just going to assume that somewhere down the line SP ran into ST somewhere in Santa Clara and it didn't end well. That could be the only reason for this ridiculous rant.

Unless we convert the punter to PK instead.
