As much as he frustrated me these last 2 seasons, I really hope he steps it up with the talent around him, and I honestly think he will. Year 3 is usually the time where a player breaks out if they haven't already. Plus he has his sister to motivate him into being the best he can be. It's a tragic way to get motivation, but you gotta see the silver lining out of a dark situation.

Dude is nothing more than an academic wuss that wanted to be set for life with his own law firm down the road. He'll be next season's "surprise retirement story", reminding everybody about concussions, posing as the rich poster boy for birth control. What a worthless pos, I wonder what excuse he'll have this year to dodge training camp, I bet his great great grandpa will come down with measles, or his cousin's cousin will get the black lung.

Dude,

It doesn't have to be like this. I'm sure someone out there loves you.

Let the butthurt go.

But seriously...I hope karma takes it easy on you.
Make or Break season for this dude.

He either blows up, or off you go to Seattle or Oakland

Yeah, he's in a position to succeed and I really hope he does.

You know, because there were tons and tons of experts who graded him as one of the top 5 players out of that draft.
Good call jonny!

That's why I was so happy we landed him.

The ball is in his court as the expression goes.

IMO, it's Pass or Fail - no in-between.
Wonder if anyone offered even a 3rd for him

Not huge differences on the 1T and 3T anymore and both interior will play 2i in nickel.

Move this man back inside to his home permanently and he will destroy G's and C's again in run and pass. Never ever play him on the edge again. Never!

I'm assuming you're good with ST at big end in base though? Bosa at Leo, Ford at Sam? Then in nickel ST slides inside, Bosa to BE, Ford to Leo? Seems to make the most sense.

Nope...no need for AA to even be here now and no need for ST to play end in any base package again. 100% inside. 3T or 1T. He'll be effective in both run or pass. If we need beef for short yardage or goal line, then put in your big boys like Jones, Street, etc.

As long as he is played inside, as long as Zgonina is gone, Solomon has a big yr. He has had a number of times where he busted thru the LOS, and not finished off. Now he gets his chance...from the inside...where he knows how to play the position. Solomon's lack of progress to date can just as well be put on DC and Zgonina as him. He was played out of position virtually most of the time.

Now tho, he has guys on either side that are going to give defenders fits. No need to move him outside for anything. This will be his first yr where he should have been from the gitgo, and he produces. He has incredible talent all up and down the line and now finally we see the guy we drafted.

Yeah i want to see jimmyG and Deebo, Hurd, kittle, marquise, pettis, jet, Brieda....but really? I just want to see our DL just run over people en route to the Qb... and every snap be a race to the QB.
It looks like fans are still having a difficult time with coming to the realization that Thomas blows chunks. Kyle Shanahan and Robert Saleh barely play him and more specifically take him out on third downs, that should be all you need to know when it comes to him.

He's garbage. Can't believe we watched the entire 2016 season only to watch this chump

Yeah. He is talented but he he needs to show it on the field.

Manny Lawson was a freak of nature but failed to exceed those expectations.
both armstead and ST are going to have big salaries. I can see them filling roles but not for 9 or 10 M a year.

You guys don't know what you're talking about. This post is solid gold, a classic.
Grant Cohn thinks Bosa looks just like Solomon Thomas, body type and size. Of course he completely hates Bosa so he's got "oh no he sucks exactly like Solomon Thomas" syndrome.
