More cometh...

The offseason purge, however, hasn't included many of the draft picks made by general manager Trent Baalke from 2010 through 2016: The new regime has retained 27 of the 31 draft picks it inherited.

However, that doesn't mean Baalke's remaining handpicked players should feel comfortable. In fact, as the 49ers hold their first OTA practice of the offseason Monday, several players who were unquestioned starters last year figure to be involved in spirited training-camp position fights.

Get the feeling...his pass protection is far superior to his run blocking. RT is also easier to fill as long as you don't have a left handed QB.

Yeah, of the final 53, it'll probably be 50-50 which is expected for any regime change, scheme changes and coming off a 2 win season...that may drop next year, and every year after, the closer we get to adding more and more impact positions.
