Not buying it at all. Sure is Jimmy G won't have full grasp of Shanahan's playbook at least a full month at least but doubtful they sit him entire season. This is clearly a huge smokescreen.

This is coach speak for "he'll play when I think he's ready to play." Don't take it literally. What Shanahan means is there is no rush to put him out there for a risky attempt at short term results when he's not ready.

And all the young keepers will be in year 2 of the WCO too plus we can expect a number of new talented acquisitions. Jimmy should be starting week 1 with a real team around him within a real offense.

When Chris Hogan runs into a vacated hole in the zone because of the play design killing the defensive play called and is wide open, that's not a talent.
Why is hogan not an athlete though? What about him doesn't make him very athletic? Isn't the combine where you determine who's the "athlete"? Hogan's nickname is 7-11 because he's always getting open lol.
