Im not gonna keep going back, but its been something like ten pages of Chris hogan and Chad Johnson nonsense.

Dont want to put everyone on my ignore list, because there are some decent poster engaging him, but FFS, Niner Talk has lost its magic. Shouldn't have to scan through ten pages of garbage sinply to find a couple actual posts about our new franchise QB.

Hogan:
At his 2011 Pro Day, Hogan pumped out 28 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. For reference, hundreds receivers have participated in the NFL combine since 2011, and none have matched Hogan's total on the bench.

You know how it goes lol...anyway back to jimmy g.

Lol i know how you go too.. Always trying to drag your ass out of these bar type of arguments cause youre always in the center of them lmao.

Drive me absolutely bonkers because he knows his s**t. But im close...
Watching Jimmy G practice and throwing to Trent Taylor is exciting, damn I really hope Jimmy G is the answer for years..I kno it's only halfway through this year but this offseason and next year is going to be the most excited with anticipation I'm going to be in years..

This makes a world of sense. I figured Jimmy G. wouldn't agree to it because he wants to play so badly, but if he's good with it going into FA, then GO 1-15!!!

Not buying it at all. Sure is Jimmy G won't have full grasp of Shanahan's playbook at least a full month at least but doubtful they sit him entire season. This is clearly a huge smokescreen.

Yup, completely agree. Just a big smokescreen. He's playing this year, no ifs, and or buts.

This is coach speak for "he'll play when I think he's ready to play." Don't take it literally. What Shanahan means is there is no rush to put him out there for a risky attempt at short term results when he's not ready.

Yes and after the 5 games of losing ny 14 total...might as well try to earn a top 2 pick to make the losing worthwhile.

And all the young keepers will be in year 2 of the WCO too plus we can expect a number of new talented acquisitions. Jimmy should be starting week 1 with a real team around him within a real offense.

Cosell is always intriguing because he actually watches tape and doesn't operate off of hype. I love hearing his thoughts on various players.

I have been flying since the moment Schefters tweet was posted.

Jimmy G has been the guy i have wanted sooooo bad since his draft.

I was actually ableto be very active that draft class on the forums, and numerous times said Carr and Jimmy G would be the best QB's

This was my final draft that year. Obviously he didnt make it to the third, as i predicted, but there it is.

Agree.... Also not giving anyone any tape to use for next year. Comes out of the gates slinging it week one.

You guys keep talking about "athletic freaks," like when I talk about great athletes I'm just referring to combine numbers.

I'm talking about talent. When Steve Young can hit a specific molecule from 40 yards away while blindfolded, that's an athletic talent. When John Taylor can break 4 tackles after the catch, that's an athletic talent. When Jerry Rice can accelerate and leave people in the dust, that's an athletic talent.

When Chris Hogan runs into a vacated hole in the zone because of the play design killing the defensive play called and is wide open, that's not a talent.

Why is hogan not an athlete though? What about him doesn't make him very athletic? Isn't the combine where you determine who's the "athlete"? Hogan's nickname is 7-11 because he's always getting open lol.

Right I'm just not sure why hogan isn't a athletic WR?
