Now it's a new year and time to make different moves. We will see how things turn out at the end of the season but one thing for certain, it is more likely than not that NE will be deep in the playoffs yet again...

You're talking about Bill the Coach, I am talking about Bill the GM unless you are going to argue that the Patriots actually got good value back for Jones and Collins.

Bill the Coach is still fanastic, Bill the GM is slippin.

Others in the media world disagree with you...

don't worry, to me that is the most important ability a WR can possess.

Bill Belichick was the one to break the news to Garoppolo, but John Lynch and Shanahan came calling shortly after. That's when it hit home.
"I got so excited, man," Garoppolo said. "I was in my apartment by myself, but I could have run through a wall. That pure excitement of 'this is really happening'. It hit me when I talked to those two."

This makes a world of sense. I figured Jimmy G. wouldn't agree to it because he wants to play so badly, but if he's good with it going into FA, then GO 1-15!!!
And yet he's going to be the active game day #2 emergency QB....we saw this game already....he's one hit away which means if CJ sharts the bed enough times he's going to get yanked with this HC.

Thats nice.

In 2014 Baalke was still being listed as one of the better GMs in football by some in the media.

I never said Belichick was terrible but this perception of him not being able to do any wrong as a GM, yeah that is over with.

He's lying, he wasn't alone in his apartment. There were probably a couple naked b***hes there.

the majority of sports journalists sucks. that's why I don't listen to their opinion. only former players, coaches and guys who demonstrated that they know their s**t I am listening to, if at all.
