And I hope they'd hire him in a second if he was interested. As a GM with no say over personnel, he helped the 49ers come up with some pretty good draft classes. As a GM with full personnel control he drafted Kentwan Balmer and Chilo Rachal. If they could land him in a consultant or scouting assistant position, I'd be down!

I'm a big fan of Peters, but I think there's too much bad blood between him and Jed. It was Jed who fired Scott if I remember correctly.

Dude knows talent for sure. I would hire him for sure to be focused purely on scouting if he was available.

Nope. Need to protect that QB!

This. Improve the offensive line before you do anything.

Deion Sanders for me
I was very young at that time, so dont remember much honestly being 35.

I just PRAY he's another Gannon or Plunkett and not a Matt Flyn or Scott Mitchell or Matte Cassell

Hah?

Garoppolo career numbers-> 67% completions, 690 yards passing, 7.3 YPA, 5 TD's, 0 INTs, 106 QB rating.

f**ker doesnt even stop pounding his feet while in mid air. This dude is a beast. Yes please.

I want him to do that to Sherman

I actually experience synesthesia when I watch this loop, like it makes my eardrums involuntarily pound at the sight of it.

I have a great feeling about this move for Jimmy G.
It sets so much into motion.
I wish it was late April 2018 right now, I really do.

My only worry: 25 years old

Will be 29 when the team is winning consistently.

I wouldn't worry, the guy is in great shape.

Since when is 25 old for a QB LOL?!?!?!

Im pretty sure Steve Young was 25 when we got him.

People wanted Cousins. How old do you think he is?

How Old was Alex Smith when he hit his prime?

Looks good. He'll pay Kendrick Bourne a good piece of change for the #10 too.

Wish I could take credit for it but I found it on another site. I guess Jimmy is gonna need that tag in the off-season to pay up now.

I hope people realize that Carson Wentz, in his second year in the NFL will be turning 25 in 2 months.

That's weird. I dunno how it got changed. I just copied from the article: http://www.49erswebzone.com/articles/110942-quarterback-jimmy-garoppolo-traded-49ers-second-round-pick/

Anyway.... STILL I just PRAY he's another Gannon or Plunkett and not a Matt Flyn or Scott Mitchell or Matte Cassell

I dont remember much of the trade? Whats hard to understand? I would imagine most 35 y/o's wouldn't.

i was a a fan, but cant say it was the best trade/aquisition/FA for me personally as far as excitement, as i was too young to truly care.
