Joseph Person who reports about the Panthers on The Athletic said they're still monitoring the veteran QB market (Mayfield/Jimmy G). They aren't gonna take on the cash for either QB currently as their contract stands and will wait on Jimmy until he can start throwing. IMO the Baker and Jimmy contracts aren't in the same category. One dude is gtd around $19M this yr no matter what and the other, once he passes his physical is gtd only $1.4M.

They go with darnold 4 and 13, coach gets fired.
