NC, let's pump those brakes a tad

He looked like a guy who had shoulder surg and didn't throw much at all this offseason, had no TC, had no preseason, was off in the corner with no playbook or teammates, his last start was NFCCG of previous season. That's what he looked like.

Looked a bit like his throw last week to Gray, a guy he's never worked with. Off.

oh stop it...jimmygexcuses

I think you can go by what neutrals are saying. They said prior to the game on KNBR that we have to remember he didn't have all those things. TC, preseason, OTAs, etc. Also he could not throw the ball for a long time. That matters for QB. KNBR is a neutral or at least they are more an official source of real info than the WZ.. which can be more toxic and reactionary after every latest moment of the season.

The worst thing about this play is that Jimmy's first read was to this side, and he still did not throw it.

Well see. I think he'll get much better and you all are completely over reacting to a single loss against a really good defense. No doubt Jimmy played like s**t, I have already said that was one of the worst QB performances I've ever watched but we'll be ok. To panic this early is a little overboard imo. This board was the exact same way last year after we lost to the colts.

Funny how this exact comment was never posted in the Trey Lance thread. And Trey didn't play nearly as poorly.

I'd like to say, "well at least Jimmy can't play any worse," but i know that he can....

When you are 33-15 you get a lil slack. No real mystery that the rhythm was all off. He went from NFCCG to shutdown for the entire offseason to welp it's meaningful action and there you go. There is a reason in MLB why even great players typically get a rehab assignment upon return from long layoffs.

In the case of TL we spent 3 firsts and we have no return on investment.. I don't fault him I fault KS. For example if we have Micah Parsons we win that game. Parsons is worth at least 1 point.

No one's doubted this. Doing it consistently during gametime is another story, however.

And Shanahan wouldn't be able to provide any more incite than we already have in that scenario.

I did too. Many many times. C'mon bro. I continually said bad games are part of his learning experience and it's no big deal. I continually stuck up for Trey. Unlike many I like both and don't have to hate one to prop up the other. I've never understood why many here have to put these guys vs one another

12-10 since 2020. Why should we keep holding onto 2019.
