Lance might not be the answer either but the fact that 75% of the webzone is blaming Kyle for the offensive struggles just boggles my mind.

It's like people forget what good QB play looks like. I don't think it's all Jimmy's fault either, but goddamn, Jimmy shouldn't get a pass every time we win.

Jimmy has an all pro at WR, TE, LT, and RB. Jimmy sailed multiple screen passes tonight and almost all of his throws were high or behind the receiver. Of course that's Kyle's fault. GTFOH.#stans

that's not, but everything else is. You're not seeing the whiole game friend. multiple head scratch calls in key situations. There's a reason we don't score touchdowns and it's not just jimmy.

The only real head scratcher I saw was pulling McCaffery out of the game on the game's biggest play. That one had me raging.

how about 3rd and goal on the 3, he calls a delay inside power. Cuz no one would expect that, i guess. stuffed of course, withour pipsqueak line,.

And that works half the time too, and then none of you complain about it. This is the thing with you people. You fail to understand that play-calling is like playing poker. Sometimes the defense just has the better hand. But when it DOESN'T, none of you notice. You just see an easy first down and think nothing of it.

I was perplexed by the formation before the ball even snapped.

Did Jimmy convert? Jimmy rarely converts a third down on his own. Most of the time it is a short pass that, because our physical WRs and great blocking down field , gets the 1st. Half the time its high or behind the WR.

So, if you're gonna call people biased, you have to back up statements like this with proof. How many of those conversions were completed short of the first down? Gotta show empirical data or else this is just a biased take.

Again, this is a statement based of your impression of what happens and not the result of any data dive. If you're gonna call me "biased" and part of the, "cult of Jimmy" back up your statements with some data to prove it. Show us on film. Chart the throws short of the sticks. Something. I'm not even asking for full film breakdowns, but show it somehow.

Don't let me down on this, I've gone around and around with people and rarely does anyone have any data or evidence to back these things up. I DM'd a guy who accused me on Twitter, of not being able to, "clearly see 8 men in the box" and "not able to have a tactical discussion" on twitter.

Within a couple responses his side devolved in to, "I just don't see the IT factor with Jimmy and he's clearly limited" and "he hasn't won the big one" and "leadership is an intangible, toughness is an intangible".

It was literally anything but a tactical discussion, lol.

Disagree. A win is a win. Was Jimmy perfect? Nope. Was he good enough? Yep. Are the 49ers 5-4? Yes they are. That's all that matters.

Rarely does any QB play a perfect game. If you think Jimmy is a flop because his passes sometimes sail, or he misses a wide open receiver, there's nothing I can say to convince you otherwise. You're convinced that Jimmy is a flop. You're convinced that any QB that doesn't hit 100-percent of his passes is a flop. You have set a very high bar for QB play.

Now, to address your concerns, can Jimmy play better? Yes, he can. Will he improve? Can he improve? I certainly hope so. I hope the entire offense can improve. I hope that Elijah and CMC can run for ten yards rather than eight. I hope that Aiyuk doesn't fumble after the catch. Same with Kittle. Same with all other receivers.

Jimmy Garropolo has the potential to take this team to, and win, the Super Bowl. Will he? I sure hope so. But then you have another problem.

Do you give Jimmy a new contract or let a Super Bowl winning QB walk in free agency.
