Dan Quin can not afford to bring in a rookie as an OC. He had Shanny and a good ass weapons with ATL and still couldnt get the job done. He has a road to climb in Wash..

He needs someone that knows what they are doing..
Call me stupid, but i would even say keep Beihnemy or bring in Chip Kelly

Quinn / Peters will they bring in their man, Texas Coast area Lance?

Why would Kelly be okay with a demotion plus a significant pay decrease?

Nope

Terrible hire.

Rivera to Quinn looks like a lateral move at best.

A story on FanSided this morning was that KC let Bienemy leave because his hard-nosed attitude had turned off some players in KC. The same article asserted similar rumors had come out of the WFT camp.

He gone.
Feels kinda like they settled, Peters must be a hell of a lot smarter than I am. Probably understands this guy is still a hell of a coach.

Quinn brings more attitude and intensity than Rivera. WFT needed that. Team morale had hit bottom by the end of this last season.

Success will depend on the OC.

They have a lot of cap space and the #2 pick IIRC. If they can hit on a good OC and get players they can turn it around in 1-2 years.

Looks like he couldn't close the deal.

Its a cold world outside of Santa Clara.
Never forget that Dann Quinn had both LaFleurs and Mike McDaniel still on the team when Shanahan left, but let them all go to bring in Steve Sarkisian from the outside to run Shanahan's system, a system he had never run.

Off to a great start, Peters. Your next move should be to bring in your boys Trey Lance and Ambry Thomas.

Well, that's not that different from what we did with the Wilks hire, but I would guess that is probably something more difficult to do with offensive coaching. While different defensive guys have different styles teams still generally run either a 4-3 or a 3-4. Maybe I'm over simplifying things, but Offensive approaches seem more varied to me.

It would be like if they let DeMeco Ryans and Kris Kocurek freely go to another team when Saleh left to the New York Jets, and then hired Steve Wilks, gave him the playbook that Saleh left behind and told him to run that defense.

I was told for years that Adam Peters was the true architect of the SF roster. He alone stood on the table and forced Kyle/Lynch to draft Warner, Kittle, Purdy, Greenlaw, E Mitchell, DJ Jones and all of the other mid to late round gems and vehemently opposed each and every bust pick the 49ers made since 2017.

Only for him to hire Dan Quinn to be his first HC.

I'm beginning to think what you guys told me is not true
