Mayock realizing it's not just GM, it's personality management. If he's going to fine AB, he should've talk to him first. Sending an official letter seems distant and high brow. Not excusing AB behavior in any way.

You bring on someone like AB, you should know what you're getting and be adept at dealing with that volatile personality.

I find it funny that Gruden might be the mediation and level headed go between in all this lol

What a f**king assclown AB is. How was this fact hidden for all these years? The Steelers must have dealt with a lot of b******t from AB and we heard little about it until the past year or so. I thought filming the postgame locker room scene was a mistake, but no it's just who AB is: a complete moron. The Raiders are bad for giving anything for AB, but this bad situation is on AB for lacking any sense of basic common decency.

Tom Pelissero is on GMFB Weekend, reporting on the financials of the AB situation:

If the Raiders put AB on the "Left Squad List", they'll be off-the-hook for any monies owed,
including funds ("Termination Pay") which is paid to players when they are released.

If he decides to return to the fold, it would be on a Game-by-Game (get paid as he plays), situation.

One would think Drew Rosenhaus would be aware of all the fine print details of AB' contract,
and would have advised AB of the perils of his actions
