UDFA LB Azeez Al-Shaair, Florida Atlantic

You can never have too many good players. Azeez has played well since replacing Greenlaw but that doesn't mean he should replace him permanently. They can rotate them and keep them fresh . Maybe one is better than the other in certain circumstances. It's a good situation and should help the defense down the stretch.

I didn't hear this guy's name mentioned once in the shocking loss to AZ. But he appeared to be playing a much better game against the Reams. Although we rarely get the inside word about defensive breakdowns, you can usually get a picture if you do not hear a defensive player's name mentioned during an entire game.

The really good news is that Dre Greenlaw may return this weekend against Jacksonville. I hope this doesn't means Azeez sits. I'd rather seem him slide over to the linebacking spot held by Marcel Harris. I haven't heard his name mentioned once in the last two games. That's generally not a good thing.

Azeez brings an element of physicality that's been lacking from the LB group that they lost when Kwon was cut. You can hear the impacts through the television when Azeez arrives.

His development has been awesome to watch.

it's crazy how much talent/money we have had at LB that didn't pan out. (Kwon/Malcolm/Foster)

Hell yeah! would love to se that play again. There was no other defender there to help as he took on 3 OL
