Even if we lose, we respected women. We respected the **** out of them. And we have guys that didn't use social media. In the end, isn't that all that matters? There were good men on the field today. They had their wits about them. They may not win. But god damnit, the obeyed federal and state laws as well as municipal codes. Sometimes, the better team on the field isn't always the team that wins. And I'll take the character on this team any day of the week.

Wouldn't assume they're done. Not until Tom signs elsewhere. Bill can collect talent fast. He rolls the dice on character and quick fixes.

If Brady leaves, who are they going to get?

I'd hate for us to trade Mullens to them, but Jimmy has proved he could stay healthy a full season.

Maybe they trade to get Jacoby Brissett back. I think he signed for one more year with the Colts.

Edit- oh maybe they get Nick Foles? Seems like the Jags are ready to move on.

I think so, too. After coming out of the gates like gangbusters the Patriots fell off and for me the feeling had all the hallmarks of 2005. Mainly meaning their roster is not as good as it once was and, secondarily, Brady at 42 can't carry the team on his back. He won't be around by the time they can restock the cupboards. They traded their next franchise QB away and have not yet found their next next franchise QB. They would still be okay with Jimmy G once they restocked their roster, but that ship has sailed.

Losing Gordon is what killed them. They must of knew he fell off the wagon to get rid of him but without him they had no ability at all to threaten teams vertically. You got an aging qb with a bunch of underneath receivers.
