Brady says he'll play next year, or rather it's most likely. So retirement looks off the table. Belichick? I think he'll keep winning but not at the Brady era level. Someone with absolute power rarely steps aside. His goal is to find a QB, and he has enough draft ammunition to do it. The big question is will the Pats resign Brady. Two years at 50+ million or 1 year 27+, if the Krafts have any business sense they say bye-bye. Jerry and Joe were traded so it would not set a precedent to see Brady leave NE.

I doubt he comes back. If Beli is serious about continue to coach, then the "rebuild" needs to start happening. I bet Brady goes to Denver.

What other "cushy" divisions are there with weak schedules?

Brady is coming back for legacy not money. He'll take a modest salary so the team can reload. All they really need are WR's.
They'll have 14 picks or so they can trade up and grab someone great :

He would want to go somewhere with a chance to win. What teams are out there that might be a QB away, willing to sign a 43 year old player at a high dollar value, and with the supporting cast?
Denver could be a possibility
Indianapolis
Las Vegas??
In the end, I think he stays.

I don't think Kraft will allow Brady to be traded. But the physical preparation for the season must be getting harder for him. He hasn't really got anything left to prove and I think the Patriot dynastic period is over. If he comes back for one more year I think that will be the end of it.
Regarding Belichick, he could soldier on. He can't have been pleased that his owner overruled him regarding Garoppolo, though.

Lol touché. But BB. I just think he and that entire franchise are such poor sports. It's remarkable to me how this seems to always get glossed over.
