And he didn't even make the right read on this play

This is a bad throw, incomplete at best in pros. A better arm and its a TD.

So it is with every good throw Jones makes... because you guys hate him.

What we have here is a guy who knows his limitations and throws to the place it should be based on those limitations, should he choose to throw to that man. Of course it would be better to get the guy who doesn't need to throw the WR to the sideline. That's not the point of this gif. The point is to show he can throw on the run.

I can post you a bunch of bad reads the other guys made from a solid platform that ended up as incomplete. Nevertheless, you're wrong. The back angle shows that this WR was just as open. Had he more arm, he could have thrown it to the corner of the endzone for a touchdown. He doesn't though, so he threw it there.

(at least by my standard: if the deep guy and the cross are open, I throw to the deep guy)

The guy deep is going out of bounds, the guy open underneath has nobody within 15 yards of him and is going to at least make it as far as the deep guy or score a TD. Not to mention that the sideline ball could easily be incomplete.

Lol if this was Lance or Fields he would be off the board. Damn it I pray to god this was one epic smokescreen, I desperately don't want this guy being the franchise qb of my team especially when he's not even better than the other guys
