That's one of my big pet peeves. It is very rare a QB lifts his elbow higher than his wrist on the load and is consistently accurate or is able to throw from a tight pocket. He may be able to over come this, but I will go with the numbers on this one.

Dude is gonna have 50 strip fumbles and 100 sacks with his 3.18 TTT.

2nd round project.

Well what do you think about Mark Jones not being able to escape the pocket if his life depended on it. I don't see him even being able to go 5 yards to the right or left without having a linebacker or a defense of lineman smack in the crap out of him

You don't need to escape a pocket when you own it.

There have been far greater successful immobile QBs in terms of distributing the football than there have been 4.5 40 QBs. Being able to outrun a defense is a crutch as a QB. You have 5 players on your side of the ball that can do it better than you and your sole job is to get them the ball as quick as possible.

So being able to create when a play breaks down is not something Kyle interested in, cause his plays never break down and our OL doesn't allow any pressure. This is rich

A lot of reasons a play breaks down that is designed by an offensive guy like Kyle is because the QB missed an opportunity.

Lol. Troll much?

How many more days do we have here? Exhausting!

Atleast you won't run out of material, no matter how inaccurate.

I might need to stick to my day job.

Prolly good idea.....just saying
Wait.... do people expect Jones to elevate this offense compared to a healthy Jimmy? lol

I think they could be very similar, with Jimmy better on roll outs and Jones better on deep passes...
Let's hope we don't hear this:

Kyle asks the team doctor about Mac Jones' fitness.
Team Doctor: "What stomach?!"

So it's the QBs fault? Will it still be the QBs fault if it's Mac Jones or does it default to OL, WR, etc? Cuz you know... he's a super fast processor. Lol. Getting deep in here.

Let's not act like Jones is Drew Bledsoe. The dude is tactically mobile.

Yup. That just doesn't sound like much of an improvement, evolution etc or at or someone you trade 3 first round picks for.

Just shot water out of my nose on that one.

Kyle brought in another pocket passer.

That's 20 now to 0.
If Mac is so good why did he have to sit behind both Tua and Hurts? The potential 3rd pick shouldn't have to sit behind those two until his senior year.

Yes, because when making the trade, Miami said, "Oh, you're trading for Mac Jones? Our bad...how about just 1 first rounder in 2022 and we're good."

You could say the same thing about Burrow too.
But then there´s Trubisky also.
Ultimately, players improve at their rythms. Maybe Jones is a late boomer.

You lost me on that one. What does Miami care who we pick? Only we care. Lol

Let's hope so cause as each day passes the more I feel like Mac is going to be the choice.
