The last bit is part of the reason I'm willing to go back over his game tape looking for specifics. Got time whilst up with my daughter anyway!

1A: Mac Jones, to me fits so perfectly we wouldn't have to change a thing. Similar type to Ryan (league MVP), Matt Schaub (lead league in passing the one full year under Kyle), Nick Mullens ( only Patrick Mahomes has more passing yards thru 1st 18 starts) His offense works with the Mac Jones type.

And yes I know the wolves are coming for the mention of Schaub and Mullens. But like the Brady comps I'm only talking types. Schaub and Mullens issues were turnovers. A supposed strength of Mac

1B: zach Wilson I think would allow us to run Kyle's offense but don't think it would be ran as seamlessly as with Jones. He has some hero ball in him. Escapes the pocket too early for my liking without the need looking for the homerun. I also think his mobility will translate the same as Manziel and Mayfield which isn't as positive as some may think.

1C: Justin Fields, he was a very distant 3rd this time a month ago. But he's more accurate and better passer than I gave him credit for. He still doesn't see the field or pass rush as well as I would like. Because of that I feel Shanny would have to change his offense for Fields.

A month ago, I wouldn't even think of having any of that. But after diving into RGIII and Kyle I feel it could possibly work with Fields. IMO Fields is a better passer/thrower than RGIII so I don't think he would have to go full zone read like he did for RGIII.

The fact that I don't know what it would look like puts him 3rd and last on my list.

I literally would be fine with any of the 3 I mentioned. I want no part of Lance, Trask or Mond. Mills could be intriguing in the 4th or later.

That is the camp I'm in. Those are my reasons and not interested in defending my reasons at this point.

But are Fields or Lance worth using 3 1st round picks to get? Any of these 3 seem risky considering what the Niners gave up.

I'm actually surprised Kyle wanted to give up this much without getting the chance to draft Lawrence or Wilson. He obviously see's something that I don't in these other 3 guys...and I'm very excited to find out who he thinks is so good that he's willing to push his chips in. I think this whole situation is fascinating.

LOL. Exactly. None of them are "worth it" at 3 especially when you consider the odds of the 3rd QB even being a serviceable QB in the NFL.

But that's the price you pay to sleep secure at night for 3.

As a prospect Justin Fields is absolutely worth it, do productive 5 star recruit QB's, with a .50 cal sniper rifle for an arm, who run a 4.4 just come around every year?

Is he perfect? No, but as prospects go, he has everything a coach could want to work with.

That is exactly why i think Jets take him. Would Kyle take Wilson then ? Fair question.

With Kyle running the pro days for Fields and Lance, (BB at Fields, supposedly at Lance's), that is almost like found money. Kyle and BB would get to see both QBs doing EXACTLY what kyle expected of them, done KYLE"S way. Man that is a terrific 49er advantage, at least for those two guys.
But if Jets take Fields, then kyle would have to take Zack's film in the can and go from there.

Of course, if he can get personalized workouts from Fields and Lance, i guess he could also suggest Zack come give him a personalize workout....JK.

It's not just that he had bad takes, he was slamming and blocking people for questioning his expert analysis. He's like Cian Fahey's spirit animal.

Lol you can find a bad take by any guy in the draft evaluation...

Don't defend your reasons, ever. If you have an opinion based on what you see, rather than what you've heard or read, and lay it out properly no one can argue.

I personally don't feel our offense would need to change with Fields, certain gameplans, like the ones Vs the Rams or Pats this year might go, but I think that'll be for the better when we're making the other team defend every blade of grass.

No one really knows how these guys will do in the league, if they did then there would be no more busts, and we're talking about people doing it for a living, not chopping it up on social media.

It's fun to give our opinions, and even more fun when you're right, but we shouldn't get into our feelings so much.

It's not that it was a bad take, he was just a giant dick to people for no reason. Everyone is wrong at some point in time, the people that are horribly wrong while treating others like crap are a special breed of jerk. I stopped paying attention to him after that, along with Fahey.

He has Denver taking a LB over a QB. Kiper is good for a giggle.

Kiper thought Jimmy Claussen, Brady Quinn, and Johnny Manziel were franchise QBs.

He said he'd quit if Clausen wasn't a franchise qb. I wish he kept on that promise. Also he has been accused to getting paid to pump up draft prospects and our boy Kentwan Balmer was one of them apparently so f**k that guy
One thing that baffles me is that people say mac is the guy cause he is plug and play in our offense. What can he do that the other qbs cant in our offense? Supposedly "process". Our scheme is known to get guys open easily. Doesn't take top notch processing cause kyle doesn't damn near all of the processing for the qbs. Kyle wants the element of being able to extend plays if the scheme breaks down cause nfl defenses are a thing. Fields and lance aren't dumb, if anything they run more complex schemes in college, especially lance. This goes to show how dumb the media really is.
I love the fact that people are bashing Kipers terrible past History of opinions on QBs, not knowing that Kiper ranked Fields as his #2 QB behind Lawrence lol.
I sure hope that all the time that has been spent on which QB to choose, hasn't detracted from the time spent on our other 8 picks (or is it 9). That is a big downside i have wondered about since the first day of trade up. Instead of posting it as a thread, and mainly because of Mac, i just hope they have put in the time and effort on our remaining picks, esp thru rds 3 , 4 and 5. Probably got a CB in rd 2, less likely an OL, but i hope they haven't given the remainder of the draft short shrift.
