This is fixable. Kerr, Street and Givens getting moved across multiple gaps may not be, tho.

This is why I still believe in Kinlaw's value to this team. He's a very very talented run stopper even if he's not the pass rusher we're hoping for rn.

Finally gets his big break (Ryans) and guys are dropping left and right. Feels bad man.

Unless Ford/Bosa combine for 30 sacks between the 2 of them, I fully expect the defense to rank in the bottom half of the league all year. Pisses me off, I hate what the NFL has become.
Good luck. He needs it.

Hard to look good when guys are dropping every week

His shear size certainly does help clog that s**t up, even when he's on the ground lol
So he didn't learn last week about going prevent defense?????? Wtfffffff

Ryans came with a high pressure game plan versus Hurts. Threw a bunch of blitzes at PHI. Lots of credit to the DBs.
Solid rebound game for the D
2nd quarter 6-play goal line stand (because of PI penalty) after the 91-yard catch was one of the better ones for 49ers in recent history. On the road, big swing in the game.

He's getting better, I tried to warn everybody last week was his first day on the job, I don't know anybody who is brilliant on their first day, we can ask for him to get better as the season goes on
this weeks practice theme: contain.

Agreed 100% Crown, people love to overreact after 1 game, the defense looked a lot better today, that goal line stop was great, the DBs played better, arrow can only go up from here, they'll get better and better each week.

That was huge, Armstead didn't bite, neither did Tartt & Ward, great stand by the defense.

Agreed, we need to contain Rodgers, thankfully he's nowhere near as mobile as a Hurts is, get after him, they're without Bahktiari at LT, need Bosa & Dee too tee off on the GB OL.

The question now is, now that we'll be facing a more mobile QB, does Ryan replace AA with Ebukam?

Saleh would leave AA in there to get abused laterally.

I doubt it. Get ready for some classic AA lowlights.

How can DR possibly be more aggressive and play more man with all these injuries?

He has to tweak whatever plan he had coming into the season that involved relying on Verrett to lock down one side. Since Verrett was playing RCB, usually the weakside of the offensive alignment, Ryans could count on Verrett to lock down the single WR side while he threw numbers (multiple defenders) at the other side of the field. That allowed for creativity. With questions at CB, Ryans' ability to adjust will be put to the test early.

Wouldn't it be easier to use the same plan coming into the season and move Lenoir to RCB
