When he let "Russ cook" they loss games and Russ turned the ball over more than he ever had despite having DK and Lockett. When they put the super bowl in his hands he threw an interception.
they also said Wilson needs to pick what bucket of greatness he wants to be remembered in. The Drew Brees bucket which is 1 Super Bowl but a ton of stats or the Troy Aikman bucket which is team first and multiple Super Bowls.
good points. I like Wilson but I think his play was better when the hawks ran the ball a lot.
The problem is that they would mostly get draft picks back for Wilson and their draft history ever since McCloughan left hasn't been very good. Outside of a couple guys like Lockett and Metcalf they've been far more miss than hit. Not sure their current front office is capable of another run like they had from 2010 to 2012 where they were able to draft star after star after star, especially in the later rounds.

The Pete/Schneider combo has got to be the most overrated in the league. That lone ring they have was all McCloughan. His drafts wherever he worked were legendary.

Some were. There was nothing legendary about the 2008 draft. Or some of his Washington drafts. I suspect whether he succeeded or failed depended a lot upon how hard he was hitting the bottle at that particular time. He's clearly a brilliant talent evaluator and if he had been able to overcome his issues with booze, he may have been an all-time top GM.

Seahawks suck at the top of the draft.
Bidding team give them 3 3rd rounders and call it a day

If the Raiders, one of the teams on Wilson's list, offer Carr and 2 1sts and a couple other picks I'd take that deal if I was Seattle.

Well, so would I, even the Raiders aren't dumb enough to offer that much.

Would it be dumb for them though? Wilson is a significantly better QB than Carr, and only a few years older. It would make them a legitimate playoff team and possibly contenders if they can find a bit of defensive help. Obviously it'd be harder for them to fix their defense without the picks, but it could still be done.
It's more questionable whether or not it makes sense for the Seahawks. The backlash from trading the best player to ever play for your franchise while he is still in his prime alone might not be worth it. But if Wilson insists on being traded getting a bridge QB and some decent picks back isn't the worst option.

Both teams would lose. Wilson wouldn't make the Raiders a legitimate play off team. Without a D you aren't getting far. And trading away two 1sts and other picks cuts the ground out.
For Seattle, all the fair-weather fans will leave, and all those draft picks will be wasted. Because that is what Seattle does with its picks.
Lose-lose. No problem with that!

Offer that much? The Seahawks wouldn't take that trade because it probably wouldn't be enough. Like him or hate him, Wilson is a top 3-5 QB every year and does A LOT to make that team go.

Yup, That's kinda why I don't really blame him for being pissed. The line sucks and DK wouldn't look so good with the 49ers QB's throwing to him (Post knee injury JG included).

Yeah the seahawks are so bad at drafting they should just be either trading back every year so they can shotgun prospects at least in the rounds they are worth instead of reaching every year. Or they should just be trading for known commodities.
Without wilson they would be bottom feeders. He has a right to be pissed.
