Trade him to CHI in return for two starting OL. That way Wilson will be in the same situation, running for his life, and we can do this again after the 2021 season.
Some dude on here said there was no way this would happen.
Everyone is expendable and Russ is on the downhill. Just cuz he burns the 9ers doesnt mean he is superb. The 9ers have just sucked at containing ALL running QBs.
Probably use all that ammo to trade up for Wilson
I hope it doesn't happen it'd give the Seahawks ammo for Deshaun Watson. No thanks.

This is what I'm afraid of.

A team willing to give up a boatload for RWilson should just use those same assets to trade for Watson.

Id be one of them, still don't think it happens. Hope it does though if they don't get some one to replace Russ asap that team could completely implode with a fan revolt. Potentially tarnishing Carrols career. Trading the literal face of the franchises history and not bouncing back would reaggravate the conversation "Why didn't you run the ball!?"

Yeah, I'd rather just go for Watson, too.

Watson to SEA seems like an even longer pipe dream than Watson to SF.

You know Seattle would do it too
I can't see Chicago making a deal for either Wilson or Watson. That would be against the rules in Chicago. They aren't allowed to have a top ten or even a top 15 QB. Rule #1 in the Chicago manual reads our QB must stink.

You ever hear of Sid Luckman?

Russell Wilson's statistical measures that are better against the other 30 teams than they are against the 49ers:

  • Passing Yards per game
  • Rushing Yards per game
  • Passing touchdowns per game
  • Rushing touchdowns per game
  • Completion percentage
  • passer rating

That's my point. Sid Luckman played over 70 years ago. Since then their best QB was probably McMahon and he wasn't really that good. They've had 2nd or 3rd tier QBs for over 70 years. Why change now?
