There is no way the Seahawks can improve. Even if they get Watson they are the same overall quality team. Trading Wilson either keeps them the same or immediately makes them worse.

Agree, the Iggles were so sure they would keep Reggie White, but negotiations fell through and whalla, Green Bay.

Wasn't there some story last year about him being interested in the Jets. I remember folks saying it was his wife trying to get him to a better media market.

Look at alll the back and forth on the webzone about whether to keep or move on from Jimmy. Can you imagine the reaction if they traded Wilson. Jimmy is borderline good at best. Wilson is one of the best QBs in the league.

I take this report with a mountain of salt but...
....if true, it suggests where a minimum Watson deal would have to be.

How does a reporter get such detailed specifics on a trade offer that should be private information between the two teams? I don't like that trade from the Jets perspective. They should grow that team from the bottom up with all the assets they have instead of trying to contend immediately, assuming one of those 1st rounders in the trade is this years #2 overall. That #2 should be their FQB, unless they aren't hot about any of this year's QBs in the draft.
As a 49er fan, SEA getting that #2 and selecting a high end QB prospect is a bit scary to think about.

Send his ass to the AFC then go ALL in on Watson. I smell NFC domination for years

This means the exact opposite of what you think it does.

Wilson > #2, future 1st rounder, future 1st rounder

I wonder the same thing about leaky trade talks. Usually third hand nonsense.
Agree on the Jets. If they ever become contenders, it probably won't be until Wilson is 36 and ready for a new contract, but I don't see how they become contenders after giving up all that draft capital.
