I would take Leftwich over pretty much anyone else that's available. He has experience, worked his way up from the bottom, has experience calling plays and coaching and playing the most important position in the game.
The only question to me really is the kind of staff that he could put together, particularly on the defensive side.
This is why I wish hot coaches could move around a bit more, meet more people, call in favors, etc. Easily the top NFL candidate but Indo wonder who he can get on his staff.
Leftwich may be better off succeeding Arians as the TB coach. Arians is nearly 70. Effectively offensive line, young team sans Brady, and potentially Brady's replacement in Trask waiting in the wings.
