Did they really get better? Offensively maybe but they have gotten much worse defensively so far.

Yeah no doubt the Rams loss too many pieces to be considered "better". Even Vegas has us at better odds.

Rams loss their LT, Edge, #2 corner, guard, and a DT amongst others. They've only signed Allen Robinson and word is Robert Woods is on the trade block.
he looks a decent receiver option too, another ascending player.
- Richard Hightower, probably
How is he as a slot WR? He's gotta be able to do something more than return punts.
Primary return man and gadget WR4 or WR5. Speed for Lance big arm. Nice pickup

Does he have deep speed?
Excellent signing. And Schneider will actually use him for more than just fair-catching.

I'm meh about it, sounds like they were interested since the beginning…good return guy but if you're spending money on that he's gotta be able to play WR too. How is his route running? Slot guy apparently. He looks faster than his 4.53 40 but I wouldn't call him a deep threat.

I haven't watched much to have an opinion either way, rather draft a guy if it's just gonna be for a ST ability.

I think McCloud does a little more offensively than Jakeem Grant which is promising since there's no way this guy was signed for that $ to be simply a PR/KR.

I hope you are right

I like Jakeem Grant too, he reminds me of Tyreek Hill but he's never been able to make an impact as a WR for whatever reason. Hopefully Ray Ray can provide us with a shifty slot as well as a Pro Bowl PR/KR.

You guys aren't allowed to have a small preference for another player. That's sacrilegious in NT!

With injury issues leaving the Tigers thin at cornerback, McCloud stepped in late in the game to play a role in sealing a 38-31 win. Fortunately, McCloud had been getting looks at cornerback in practice before needing to deliver in a game situation.

"He's earned it," head coach Dabo Swinney said, per the Greenville News. "It's not like he hasn't practiced. He's worked at it. He's demonstrated his confidence to us in practice. It was a situation of need and we just felt like we needed a veteran guy who kind of knows the situation."

Nice. He's our new starting slot CB too.

Yeah, looks like change of pace for slot WR and plenty of fly sweeps and screens. Take a little off Deebo/Jennings plate. Agreed...still need a real deep threat.

Grant is a legit 4.3 guy, real burner. Ray Ray isn't that.

Oh, you've broken the code. Time out for you! Haha.

I hear ya.

Did they? Their left tackle retired, they are hoping the guy who replaces him will play just as well. They lost Von Miller, they lost a starting guard, they lost one of their starting CB's as well as one of their starting LBs, they added Robinson but does that offset the guys they lost?
Rams definitely got worse this offseason.
