Maybe (hopefully) this is a RB that Anthony Lynn signed off on cause other then Mitchell, Shanny and Lynch have left a lot to be desired when it comes to selecting RBs in the draft.

Bad pick, not because of his talent, but because he's similar to last year's 3rd round RB pick, Trey Sermon. They needed a speedy outside zone run back to replace Mostert.
More importantly, O-line and safety are greater needs.

This is a pick with the Trey Lance offense in mind. Can run inside zone and is built like a brick s**thouse who can lead block on designed qb run plays.
our Rbs go down like flies every year, need all the depth we can get.

Why another RB? I don't understand.
Even with injuries, we don't have to ask Deebo to do it.

This kinda tells us that Sermon is not probably going to be a factor

6 foot 200+lbs with a 4.4 - impressive. We need a back like
this. He will help keep Mitchell healthy and we finally have two big backs that can move and deliver punishment

I believe the pick was supposed to be Rachaad White from ASU but Buccs snatched him 2 picks prior. Niners met with White twice during the process. Bummer I liked White too.

Bobby Turner was the reason the Niners selected picked Sermon. he's not infallible.

We haven't had a reliable starting RB since Carlos Hyde. Kyle has worked wonders with his patchwork crew of RBs but he deserves more.

The more weapons for Trey - the better. Our running game has been missing a bruiser. I like this pick.
