Well to take abit of the sting away we wouldnt't have Bosa. And a few other of our star players also. Since the whole draft order would be different.

As hard as it is to believe there is a couple of teams in the AFC that are not good matchup for the Chiefs. The Titans and Bengals both come to mind.

Yea, teams that can run the ball can bother them.

It's just so hard to keep asking a defense to get stops on Mahomes. The offense has to both ball control and score TDs. Any time you settle for a FG against them it's basically like punting away a possession.

That is definitely true. I think the chiefs are our worst matchup. I think they win the psychological matchup because of the super bowl loss and the ass beating they gave us this year. They can be beat, hell we almost did. Shanahan would have to literally run up the score. No conservative b******t playing it safe type of game. It would have to be his opus as a coach. You cannot keep it close against Mahomes. He is the best in the NFL. No mercy if we face them again.

Yeah, that pick is going to haunt us for another decade at the very least.

Thats extreme hindsight. People were shocked that KC traded up to 10 to draft a project like Mahomes, let alone being drafted at 2. He was far from a polished QB prospect. We also have no clue if Shanahan would've known how to develop Mahomes, especially with a crappy roster. Too many outside factors to lose sleep over that one.

I get far more annoyed that the ONE time Kaepernick decided to actually be clutch in 2016, it cost us Myles Garrett. That's the part that hurts about the 2017 draft.

Welp, that's why they're the champs. They always seem to find a big play when they need one.

Except the thing is they're not the champs, they're literally not the defending Super Bowl champions.

If KC is destined to make the SB this year, I want no part of it. Don't want a 5-3 SB record, would rather get beat in the WC round and be done with it.
I went to bed early in the second quarter when the Chiefs were trailing knowing full well they'd come back to win.

f**k you SD Chargers

that's why the coaches get paid. the majority of them aren't polished. you have to see the potential and coach them up. Big Red saw it.

When you watch a QB like Mahomes you see the inangibles that make a player stand out from the rest. He's not the biggest and he's not the best runner. He has a very good arm but others are just as good or better. What he has is that special ability to stay cool in any situation and make plays from anywhere on the field. Crazy sidearm throws. Deep passes right on target. Scrambles that pickup first downs. The ability to spot the open receiver downfield. All things that make a QB great instead of just good.

Last night Justin Herbert put his team ahead with less than 2 minutes to play. Mahomes calmly took the field and marched the Chiefs down the field in about 80 seconds. T. Game over.

I want one of those.

Agreed. Like I said in a previous thread. Mahomes is on an island by himself.

Josh Allen and Joe Burrow aren't that far behind.

Maybe we should trade up for one of the QBs. . . .

they about 5 islands away. I don't think either guy could do what Mahomes did last night with a bunch of scrubs at wr. It was Kelce and 2 other te's I've never heard of.

I'd take Kelce over Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd. I mean Joe Burrow beat Mahomes last year when he had Cheetah and Kelce.
