Well the NFL just turned into the arena league. They got what they wanted. Just a sickening display of s**t defenses. This isn't football. Give me the days Lawrence Taylor, not this s**t.
Eagles were a legit D all season. They s**t the bed. Major choke job…
Against Mahommes though? He makes legit D's look like s**t. Remember what he did to us?
No. Look at what tampa did to him. That was a real.defense. not this fraudulent Philly d. Look at who they've played the last 10 weeks at qb. They got exposed. Aiyuk was right.
They had practice squad and 7th round picks on their line in that game.

Maybe. IMO, he did just outplay Mahomes
He cost his team a 14 point swing with that fumble so I'd say he didn't.
To each his own. 14 point swing? lol. You have no idea if Philly scores a TD or a FG on that drive, they just went from 3rd and inches to 3rd and 6,
At minimum it's a seven point swing in a three point game.
His QB rating was lower than Mahomes even though he had more yards. You get penalized big time when you throw an INT or lose a fumble. Mahomes played a flawless game even though his ankle was still an issue. He refused to let it keep him from performing. Look at that big run he had in the 4th quarter.

Pathetic. I feel so fortunate to have grown up at a time when I could actually see teams competing with each other without playing to some script which will attract the most viewers. If one team was way better than the other they won 37 to 3. That's just how it was.. No b******* no ridiculous calls no game managing by the refs. Those days are gone and I'm very sad
There is no script. The defender grabbed jersey on a whip and go on the outside. That will be called 99% of the time.

There isn't much Shanahan can do. Super QBs don't grow on trees. He tried to draft a high level talent (supposedly Lance) and he doesn't seem to be panning out like one. He is pretty much back to square one with Jimmy/Purdy level type QB who he can win with. Besides, he has to fix the O-line and D-line and we don't have much cap space left neither. He will just have to ride with Lance and Purdy hoping Purdy's elbow will be good to go.
What did I say in my long post? Shanahan refused to draft Mahomes and there are consequences when you get such key decisions wrong. If he had listened to Lynch, we probably would have won at least 1 if not 2 more Super Bowls by now.
They should have listened to me too (dang yeah I was Glory at the time). Oh I picked us up Aaron Jones while I was at it too.
Don't mean to gloat. I'm sure a ton of 49er fans were hoping for Mahomes at #2 or #3 as well. I swear to you I was like a little kid waiting for an Xbox to appear under the Christmas tree and then when they announced Soloman it felt like I opened a box of sweaters. So disappointed and angry at the 49er's stupidity. Then again would Shanny have developed Mahomes as Reid did? That's the big question. But what drew me to Mahomes was Shanny's description of his perfect QB. Mahomes hit every mark.

Offensive holding mentions a redirection, defensive holding does not.
The split-second the defender grabbed and pulled on Juju's jersey, that flag was coming out.
TThe referee can reconsider the call. They could wave off the flag if they felt that it was not sufficient contact. Also the ball was way overthrown so there was no chance to catch it anyway. Completely pathetic the rest should never intrude on a game the way they did at that moment.
Defensive holding is independent of whether or not the ball is catcheable. "Don't call actual by the book fouls when my team needs you to ignore them." #cryeaglescry

Ah, we have the fall guy.....
EYES can CLEARLY see the jersey is pulled. It was the right call. PERIOD. IT IS NOT DEBATABLE. PER THE RULES IT IS THE RIGHT CALL. Sick of these Eagle fans flooding our board.
You eagle fans deserve this with how you were calling for OUR players to be injured on your boards in the NFCCG.

IIt was a trifling infraction that should have been ignored. It would have been legal to Chuck him to the ground at that point of the field. The play was obviously out of character for the game and I wouldn't be surprised if you could look back and see five or six different instances are very similar trifling infractions that weren't called. It was just a bad moment and nobody should try to make it seem like it improved the game experience.

Exactly. He grabbed the jersey in the open and that's easy to see. It's the same as holding in the line. When it happens in the middle it's not called as much. When a tackle gets beat and reaches out and hooks the rusher it gets called. The fact that he continued to hold after the grad made it worse but I don't think that was what was called. It was the initial grab.

I didn't see that route all game so I doubt it. You are far more likely to get called when you hold when you're out of position based on their sudden change of direction, which was the case here.

Doug Pederson, Reid's former protege, used the same short motion KC did twice in the SB for a TD against the Eagles earlier in the season pic.twitter.com/tMa2gmNQgC

Chiefs scored 2 TDs running this same play last night .

Yikes. And the Eagles hired Vic Fangio as a consultant for 2 weeks to help their defense prepare for the Chiefs. He would have earned a ring had they won. LMAO.

Let's say it was a bad call. (I don't think it was) KC still kicks a FG and Philly has to score with a little over a minute to play and no time outs. KCs defense was palying really well in the 4th quarter.
As long as we're going to play the what if game, what if Butker's first FG had been a few inches to the right? They would have already been ahead by 3 points. What if Hurts hadn't flat out dropped the ball and allowed a scoop and score? What if their special teams hadn't allowed the longest punt return in SB history?
Bottom line is the Eagles made 3 crucial mistakes in the game and it cost them.

It's crazy
Andy Reid crushed em with that fake motion whip route https://t.co/7OlGSpRpg9

Yeah I was simping for him too before that draft. Solomon Thomas smh. And this is purely on Shanahan, not Lynch, because after Lynch went to his workout, has asked Kyle if they should maybe rethink the plan.
The good news is Purdy does a lot of what Mahomes can do, minus the elite arm strength. And Trey, if he develops well, can do a lot of what Hurts does. So, as long as things develop smoothly, we'll have very good QB play for several years.
