You have to do a couple of things when you download winamp. Also, i think there is something else you need to download as well. It should be on their FAQ page.

You have to d/l nsvdec_x264.dll and place it in your winamp/plugin folder also it wouldn't hurt to d/l ffdshow for all the proper codecs.

I just used VLC player, that thing plays damn near everything! I love it. After putting in your password/username to get the file, just open it with notepad, copy it and then open up VLC player and hit File/Open Network Stream and paste the url. Vuala.

I just went to the streamtv site....and went to that help thread....the very first post says.....
If you get audio but cannot see the video, click here...it sent me to some webiste...and i pressed download....and that was all....
Oh...then you have to move the codec into the plugin folder of WinAmp.

hahaa, guess i missed that. I was one FAQ's thread and couldn't find anything. But if you're saying it cuts out on Winamp too, I should probably just keep using VLC. I hate how Winamp has all that extra advertising crap.

Anybody know the best numbers use for Winamp when setting the buffering speed and what not....on streamtv they give you recommended numbers to put in...but they have not been working great with my computer and it still buffers every 5 seconds.
Any one know anything about this?!

geez, from everything i've been reading and experiencing, it sounds like I'm f**ked unless I get the Sunday Ticket or head out to a bar.

Okay, there's hope. I uninstalled that bloated ass updated version of Winamp I got and went to the help thread like you said. The fist sticky thread on there mentions if you only get audio and it buffers only to 99, etc... So the guy set up a site to download everything you need with step by step instructions. Once I did all that, I streamed the MMA channel which looked awesome. Just to make sure it wasn't just the channel, I opened up the stream with VLC and it was choppy. My fingers are crossed that the niner game will look just as good as the MMA channel just did.
